And This is The Thanks We Get
THINGS IN THE EMT house were bright, everyone was- surprisingly - in a good mood. Usually mornings in the house people come in get donuts and then leave for their day shift, the night shifters getting annoyed with how much they have to do the next day.
Josie stirred her coffee leaning back against the counter. Watching her coworkers mess around, the morning unusually slow, she was hoping that it wasn't a sign for things to go bad later in the day.
"You cannot!" Reese exclaimed loudly, she raised a brow at their bickering. "I can dance circles around you." Clem's tells him.
Alex sighs leaning on the counter next to her. "What is dumb and dumber arguing about?" She asks her, she shrugs her shoulders.
"Who knows?" Josie said sipping her coffee, Levi walked over to the both of them, biting into the pink sprinkle donut in his hands.
"You guys's been on Instagram today?" He asks them, they look at each other.
"No, why have you been on reels or something?" Alex asked him with a chuckle. He looked up holding up his phone.
"I think I've been everywhere," Levi tells them, he clicks the video on the post, it plays footage of the young men tackling the drag queen to the ground. Josie covered her mouth as she contained her laughter."Oh, it gets better," Levi says, his lips forming a thin line as the video continues. The drag queen kissed his cheek, his face turning beet red as the crowd cheered at him. He put his phone down, as he bit his donut again.
"It's trending, by the way, half a million views already on Instagram and several tags on Twitter," Levi tells them, the two women chuckled as his face turned red again. "You know how many DM's I have gotten in the last few hours from both drag queens and homophobes."
Alex pats his shoulders. "Congratulations mate, I'll take you to the next pride parade if you want." She tells him, he rolls his eyes biting his lip.
Josie gasped. "Oh my gosh, yes please that would be so much fun." She says with a smile.
"I could get you a pride flag, and you can wave it around." Josie gushes. He shook his head at their teasing. "How does Liz think of you being a hero to the LGBTQ?" She wonders."She was excited for me," Levi admits, she playfully raised her brows. "My mom even called me, saying that I was looking thin." Josie laughed.
"Hey guys!" Reese shouted at the three of them. Josie looked up at the two men confused. Reese stood up with Clem, standing in front of the trio smirking."Who do you think can give a better lap dance?" Reese asked. Alex coughed up her drink, holding her chest as she looked between both men.
"What?" Josie asked them, her eyes wide. Reese, a man with short blonde hair standing at 6,2 looked at the three of them.
