Not On My Mind Tonight
Slight Smut Ahead at the end

THE TWO watched the cops empty out their belongings, Josie shook her head sipping on her coffee. They didn't even bother with placing her things back in place, they even went through her clothes and tossed things on her bed.

"God I hope they don't go through my panty draw," Alex mumbled, Josie nodded her head. "Or my recently deleted photos." The blonde mumbles.

Josie slowly turned her head to look at her friend. She shrugged, shaking off her stares. "Do I even wanna ask?" She says.

"I have a life outside the house you know." Alex reminds her, she sighed leaning back into the couch. "Speaking of...I'm gonna stay with Tara tonight." She tells her.

"Wait so I'm gonna be alone tonight?" Josie wonders, the blonde shrugs. "Yes..we can still go to that gym together, they have boxing." She suggests to her, she nods her head.

"Will you be okay alone?" Alex wondered, Josie nodded her head. "Yeah, I'm an adult I can be on my own." She confirms, she shrugs.

"I know how you get with stress so I just want to make sure you alright." She says's warm. Josie pats her shoulder in comfort. "Your mama goose is showing." She teases with a smirk.

"I'll be fine, I don't think this could get any worse," Josie admits, Alex nodded. A crash comes from the bathroom, she bit her lip hissing irritated. "Stop saying that please." She pleads with her friend.

"Will do." She sipped her coffee. A cop walks out of her bedroom, in a baggy marked red as evidence, a silver camcorder with a small sticker of a Gator. Her brown eyes widened as she sat her coffee cup down.

"You can't take that!" Josie exclaims, and the man keeps walking away. Her heart pounded as her blood ran hot with anger. "Hey! that's not your's."  She shouts.

He kept walking. Josie grunted as she got up, running to the door.  "Hey, Asshole! that's not yours!" Josie shouted chasing after him.

"Jo! Stop!" Alex shouted, she grunted hooking her arms under her's pulling her away from the cop. "I've had that longer than you had that badge!" She yells.

Cops came up behind her as they pulled her away, sitting her down on the concrete. "Are we gonna have to restrain you?" They fumed, and she shook her head.

They go back inside counting to search her house. Alex looked at her in concern. "What the hell was that?" She wonders.

"It was nothing," Josie says, the blonde shakes her head. "Well you almost just got yourself more charges, that was nothing, Josie." She pointed out, she rolled her eyes crossing her arms.

"That was mine and Maria's camera, from when we were kids." She sighed deeply. Alex's mouth parted at the new information. "It's the only other thing of hers I have left," Josie tells her.
