Looking for Love In The Wrong Place

THE TRIAGE SAT IN the EMT house eating lunch in the back of their ambulance, conversing about their calls and days, things seeming back to normal. At least for the other two, Josie on the other hand had something that had been eating at her for the last few days.

"That wasn't there their best album though." Alex compared to Levi, wiping the edge of her mouth. "Have you at least heard the Black Keys in concert?"  He asked her.

"The first concert I ever attended was, The White Stripes," Alex tells him, he nodded in approval. "Oh, The Chicks." He tells her, and she raises a brow.

"What? My mom was originally from North Carolina she likes country." He explained to them, she nodded. "What about you Jo?" He asked, no response.

Alex tossed a napkin at her friend, Josie grunted pushing it off herself. "Uh, it was Katy Perry." She answered.

"Okay, space cadet what is up with you?" She asked her, Josie shrugged. "Nothing is up." She tells her, Alex scoffed.

"You have been abnormally quiet." Alex pointed out. Levi's eyes darted between the two of them. "She is right." He say's.

"Penny for your thoughts?" He wondered, she inhaled deeply.

"Okay just don't get mad at me," Josie begged of them, setting her sandwich down on the wax paper. "That's not a good sign," Alex says. Josie crossed her arms.

"Okay, I think something is up with Eddie." She admitted. The two of them looked at her confused. "Like what?" Levi asked her.

"He keeps coming back to work with these bruises and cuts, and he keeps saying things like I slipped in the shower and I cut it changing a tire," Josie explained, she shook her hands.

"And why is that freaking you out? He is a firefighter he could have gotten it from a call." Alex says, Josie nodded in agreement. "That's what I thought too." She adds.

"But I remember that bar fight call from a week ago, those bruises on that guy looked almost the same as the ones Eddie has." She explained looking between the two of them.

"Those are defense wounds," Josie says. Alex furrowed her brows. "So I did something the other night." She recalls.

"What did you do?" Levi asked her, she inhaled deeply. "I may have sort of looked him up on Find My Friends," Josie confessed to coughing at the end.

"Oh no Jo, why that's stalking." Alex groaned her hands to her face. "This is why I didn't tell you." Josie says, she shook her head.

"You can't do that it's weird you can't just look at his location without his permission, you are literally a lifetime movie if you do that." She says, her friend groaned hitting her head lightly on the ambulance walls.

"He was at some warehouse, I street viewed it, and I think he may be in danger," Josie tells them.

"He's not your problem Jo, I know that things between the two of you are complicated but you can't be helicopter moming him." Alex cautioned, and Josie nodded her head.
