Afterglow

Minor Smut Ahead, at the end

WEDDINGS WERE never really her thing, growing up on Spanish telenovelas hyped them up to her when she was little. Then she became an adult and understood how much time really goes into a romantic event. Was it really worth it, the expense of it all?

The venue was decorated with fairy lights strung along the wood beams above the chairs. Maroon and Cream color drapes fell perfectly, and flowers of the same color scheme lay about in bouquets and scattered on the carpet.

"What are you doing?" Eddie asked Buck on his left, he mumbled for a moment looking at the two of them.

"Is my tie straight?" Buck leaned over to Josie, she furrowed her brows. "You look fine buck," Josie reassured him.

"I know but does it make me look you know big?" He asked her, she shook her head. "No, you look fit, the only big thing is your head." She teased him.

"I'm kidding sorry it was a bad joke," Josie says to him. Music began to play from the speakers above, the guests stood up looking down at the end. A small droplet of water fell onto her shoulders, gazing up at the sky, it was sure gonna start sprinkling soon.

Liz with her father on her right side, her beautiful white A-line dress hugged her body, her veil hung over her face hiding her grin. Josie glanced back at Levi, he wiped away a tear from his eye seeing her.

Josie smiled, she knew that she teased him often but she was glad to know one of her closest friends found someone to spend forever with. The audience's eyes lit up watching her be guided down the maroon carpet.

Liz's father guides her to the stage at the end of the aisle. They touched their foreheads before letting her go. The guests sat down as the ceremony continued on, Josie did her best to pay attention to the priest.

She crossed her legs, patiently. Looking at the brunette next to her, she could see he was struggling with keeping his attention as well, her hand reached over. Placing it on top of his, Eddie looked at her, he smirked lacing his fingers with hers.

The time for vows came and Levi was handed the microphone first. He smiled with his canines, pulling out a small leather notebook from his pocket.

He stuttered for a moment looking out at the audience, Alex and Josie, who were next to each other. They smiled at him giving thumbs-up, and he chuckled holding it to his mouth.

"Elizabeta, we first met when we both were learning a new language, and you were the lucky one who chose to sit next to the weird boy who was always writing down every single note he could, even if it wasn't important," Levi stated, and the guests chuckled at him.

"We separated for a short time, meeting each other again, before then you never left my mind. You helped me to see the details in everything, the beauty in the innate." Levi took a breath, getting through his words.
