A/N: I was so in love with my writing yesterday I decided I'm going to make this a three part split. The morning chapter (11) has Mia meeting the girls etc, and the evening chapter (12) will have Mia and Charlotte discussing how the night actually went. Also having their freaky deaky time. Maybe with the squirty cream, or ice cream oooop! Not really any themes mentioned to refrain anyone from reading today, maybe a temporarily spicy scene, I don't know. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did writing it! (1944 words)

Prompt: A follow on from Chapter "10. She wants a piece!" where Charlotte tries to introduce the idea that Mia is someone special to her, to her two daughters. Georgia (9) and Elizabeth (4). They are planning to have dinner with her tonight. Charlotte's nerves are at an all time high.

The kitchen was a whirlwind of activity as Charlotte, Gia, and little Liz prepared to bake Mia's favourite dessert—brownies. Charlotte, wearing a flour-dusted apron, watched as her girls giggled and playfully flicked flour at each other.

"Liz, careful with the flour! We need it in the bowl, not on the floor!" Charlotte exclaimed, trying to keep the mess to a minimum while suppressing her own laughter.

"But it's funnnn, Mummy!" Liz replied, her face lit up with a mischievous grin.

Georgia, or Gia as she liked to be called, was already an expert at cracking eggs and stirring the mixture. She looked up at her mother with a twinkle in her eye. "Mum, why are you so worried? It's just brownies. It's not that deep, you know"

Charlotte bit her lip, her cheeks flushing slightly. "I just want them to be perfect for Mia. They're her favourite dessert, and I really want to impress her."

Gia raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything more. She had her suspicions about her mum's relationship with Mia, but she knew better than to ask in front of Liz.

After a fun-filled baking session and a lot of laughter, the brownies were in the oven. Charlotte glanced at the clock. "Let's pop out to get some ice cream to go with these brownies. It'll be a nice surprise for Mia, and after this long week of school, I think you girls deserve a big tub of it too. What do you say? Hm?"

The girls cheered, quickly cleaning up before heading out to the local grocery store.

As they stood in line for the tills, Gia took her chance. "Ma, can I ask you something?"

Charlotte, placing a few tubs of ice cream on the conveyor belt of the till, nodded. "Of course, sweetie."

Gia hesitated for a moment, glancing at Liz who was busy playing with a small toy. "Mia... she's not just a special friend, is she? She's... more like a girlfriend, right?"

Charlotte took a deep breath, appreciating her daughter's perceptiveness. "Yes, Gia. Mia and I are... something more. It's a bit more romantic."

Gia nodded, processing the information. "I won't say anything too confusing in front of Liz. I know you want her to have a good relationship with Daddy. I think she would get confused and end up calling Mia daddy instead." Gia burst out laughing at the thought of little Lizzie screaming "Dada!" at Mia.

"Oh dear gosh we wouldn't want that. I do want to tell her eventually, but I don't want to crowd her head with my sexuality and all. I will wait till she is older, or until she asks me herself. If I'm being honest Gia, all I know is that I find Mia pretty. I don't really want to explore what that means, or put a label on it. She is the only woman I've found myself drawn to, and it feels wrong that I say that..-"

The almost 10 year old cut her off: "Mum, don't worry about it. Life is weird like that. She seems nice and if you like her, that's it. Some of my friends think they are gay, doesn't mean they have a big crisis trying to figure it out. They just know they don't like boys and they like girls. Simple."
