A/N: I am free from my exams now! WOOOOO! Not got anymore to do for a while now. I can finally get back to doing my usual hobbies thank the Lord. I wanted to write something cute as I get to chill, went out with my lovely mates and got to know the cutest lady ever. She was fit. Anyway, me and my hoetivities aside, let's get back to the story...

Please refrain from reading if tough relationships with food upset you. In this chapter Reece and Char talk about his body image etc. Nothing too depressing though, I promise!

= Char and Reece have a therapy session after hearing that Reece has finally said "I love you" to Marjorie. It'll be their last one for a little while.

"Stop! Reece! Do you remember in the staff room when I prodded at you for not saying it back and you literally snapped back at me... I'm soooo bringing that up at your wedding. Well- if if that's what you guys want for the future. I mean- I meant that in like a-"

Char spilled her words out like she was a fresh tin of beans. She knew Reece was planning on asking someday but she just didn't want him to feel pushed into doing it, especially since he was with Mia for so long and still unlearning some things from their relationship, to also just recently being able to say I love you to his current girlfriend Marjorie, there was a need to take things down a notch. To let things settle, just momentarily before jumping into anything like an engagement.

"Hey, Char, seriously, relax," Reece offered his arm out to give Char a side-hug. "I know I didn't talk about it much other than that one session where we watched Bridgerton, but I really do want to pop the question soon, I guess I just don't know when the right time is."

Char rested her head into his side hug before separating away from him again so they were face to face, "I think that's perfectly normal, you know. You've been through so much drama recently, I mean Mia can definitely attest to that, you've spent so many mornings coming in early to deal with all these legal proceedings and nonsense I can't even begin to understand, but you get the drift. It's been hectic. It's alright to just look at things retrospectively and really perfect what you want to say, what you want to show to Marjorie."

Char smiled a little, imagining how things would go before continuing: "Moreover, as much as you and I have become best-buds even though we would never say it, at the end of the day, Marjorie is one of my longest and closest friends, and letting her receive the love she truly needs and deserves is going to pull at my heartstrings for sure."

Reece smiled back, he spoke, asking about his ex. "How are things with Mia? I know she's away right now, but I hope all is going well."

"Yeah! Things have been going smoothly. It's quite nice in a way that she can't stay continuously, don't really know how to describe it but it is really nice to take things slow. Also technology has improved so much since we were kids hah, imagine, I can see her face on a screen like she's here in-"

Reece butted in with his witty comments, "God, when you say it like that, we are really old. Maybe Carly was right about me being an old man. I'm glad you and Mia are taking things slow, didn't know she had it in her to be honest."

"Reece!"

"Sorry, sorry. But you can't blame me, isn't the stereotype that women in same-sex relationships move in with one another after going on like two dates." Reece chuckled, his comment not entirely false, even though it was out of pocket.

"Welllll, you aren't wrong. But they are stereotypes!"

"Yes yes I know, just winding you up Char."

Charlotte got up to grab some of the leftover pizza she had from earlier. "Do you want some Reece?"
