= A continuation of "22. Somebody come get her." Mia reappears in Charlotte's life after months of no contact. Her intoxicating personality unsettles Char's newfound balance.

"We weren't anywhere Mia. There is nothing between the two of us. You haven't been in my life for months!"

Charlotte was feeling emotion rush over her. The redhead she was once dreaming to have children with, grow old with, was treating her like she was just an object..?

Mia just stifled a laugh and continued pressing the younger with her words. "All I stated is that everyone has a price... Don't take offence to it sweetheart."

"More importantly, be a good girl and repeat what you just said... I want you to hear yourself say it."

Charlotte scoffed at Mia, but deep down she missed being her good girl.

"I said! I- I said!-"

"Got your knickers in a twist sweetheart? Cat got your tongue? What's wrong?" Her voice got deeper as she continued to push questions at the meek lady she had now fixed her eyes onto. Mia wasn't smirking yet, but she could feel the power she had over Charlotte. She had managed to slowly inch closer to the woman after every question she asked.

Charlotte kissed her teeth, getting her words straight. "I said that there is nothing between the two of us. You and I haven't spoken in months." Char surprised herself with how well she got her words out, especially after her fuck up earlier. Did Char really stand by what she was saying?

"Firstly, Charlotte... you ended things with me. It's not my problem that we haven't spoken in months." Mia's tone was angry, like she almost cared that Char had left her. Her tone was difficult to read almost, like she was masking emotions she wasn't supposed to have.

"Secondly, you cannot be so naïve. Nothing between the two of us?" Mia laughed. "Lying is a sin sweetheart."

There it was, the smirk. The smirk that meant Charlotte wasn't leaving this bathroom anytime soon.

Mia closed the very small gap between the two women, her presence overwhelming. She placed her hands firmly on the sink's countertop, trapping Charlotte in the intimate space between her arms.

Charlotte was encased in Mia's body, her back lightly brushing against the sink's edge. Her heart pounded in her chest, the rhythmic thumping growing louder with every breath. Mia was so close, her warm breath fanning across Charlotte's face, shallow and low, matching the steady rise and fall of her chest. The air between them was charged with an electric tension, leaving just the two of them in this small, shared bubble of desire and anticipation.

Mia looked down at Charlotte, her gaze unwavering and intense. The slight height difference made Mia's proximity even more pronounced, her presence enveloping Charlotte completely. If Mia inched any closer, Charlotte was certain she would feel the fluttering of her own heart against Mia's chest, a physical manifestation of the tempest of emotions swirling inside her.

Mia's hands, resting on the countertop, framed Charlotte's body without touching her. Her fingers were so close that Char could almost feel their warmth, a tantalizing promise of contact that made her skin tingle with anticipation. The space between them was maddeningly small, yet it felt like an insurmountable distance. Charlotte's sighed as she longed for the sensation of Mia's hands on her, the ache of their almost-touch sending shivers down her spine.
