18. Way too much sugar!

A/N: Lmao this is kind of a filler chapter because I wanted to write something stupid. We've had a bit too much spice around here recently, we're also going to have a bit of angst in the future. So for now let's enjoy some sugar. Wink wink. I can't take myself seriously. I'm literally about to sit one of my exams in a few hours eeeek! Wish me luck!

Prompt: Mia receives her quarterly dividend from being a director of the nurseries. All there is to say, is that childcare subsidies really do work. (My economics degree in clutch) Mia treats Charlotte with a 'sugarmummy' style day out. Not sure a 2 year age gap is exactly sugar material, but let's just allow it for the shits and giggles.

Mia woke up early and prepared breakfast, whipping up Charlotte's favourite: fluffy pancakes with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The delicious aroma wafted through the house, slowly waking Charlotte from her slumber. She wandered into the kitchen, still half-asleep and rubbing her eyes.

"Morning, sleepyhead," Mia greeted, her face lighting up with a smile. "I've got a surprise for you today."

Charlotte, drawn to the smell of pancakes, blinked in surprise. "Morning, Mia. What's the occasion?"

Mia grinned, serving up the breakfast. "You'll see. But first, eat up. We have a big day ahead of us."

After they finished breakfast, Mia led Charlotte to the living room. "Okay, here's the plan: today, I'm treating you to a full day of spoiling. We're going shopping, having a spa day, and maybe even checking out some new cars. How does that sound?"

Charlotte's eyes widened in astonishment. "Mia, you're going all out! Are you sure?"

Mia chuckled, pulling Charlotte into a hug. "Absolutely. You deserve it. Now, let's get started."

Mia picked Char up, Charlotte wrapped her legs around Mia. Sighing in anticipation. Mia's hands travelled around Charlotte's body, pushing the pair close to a wall. Char leaned in and kissed Mia, needy for her redhead.

"Well.. since you're spoiling me, why can't I treat you to a little something too?" Charlotte purred at Mia.

"No sweetheart, let me spoil you first, then maybe you can show me your gratitude." Mia laughed a little at Charlotte's affection.

"That's not fairrrr, making me feel so special, and planning this whole day for me. Why can't I show some appreciation?" Char finished her sentence and was kissing down Mia's collarbone, still pinned to the wall by Mia's hands.

"Seriously sweetheart, get in the car. We've got a long day ahead, you're going to want to save your energy up. Don't waste it just yet."

Charlotte let out a little sigh as Mia put her down from the wall and walked her towards the car. Opening the door for her.

Their first stop was a high-end designer store. As they walked in, Charlotte felt a little overwhelmed by the luxurious surroundings. The store was filled with elegant displays of clothes that looked too expensive to even touch.

"Mia, are you sure about this?" Charlotte whispered, feeling out of place.

"Positive," Mia replied, giving her a reassuring smile. "Today is all about you."

A store attendant approached them with a warm smile. "Good morning, ladies. How can I assist you today?"

Mia smiled back. "We're looking for some outfits for my lovely girlfriend here. Something chic and stylish."

Charlotte blushed at the attention but couldn't hide her excitement. They spent the next hour trying on various outfits, with Mia offering enthusiastic encouragement and playful critiques.
