A/N: Wrote this a few days ago, wasn't going to post it because it's more of a silly chapter, but ngl think I need a little silly right now for the story. Enjoy, hope you are all well x

= The two get ready to leave for their honeymoon. They have a few tasks to complete. Mia wants to tick off one particular useless task. Charlotte can't figure it out at all.

Mia and Charlotte had been reminiscing over the last night, whispering away about how much fun they had on their wedding day, for a day filled with so much love, passion and spent with those who they cherished the most in the entire world. It certainly reflected in the night they shared with one another. They had never been so gentle with one another, and to hear the words 'my wife' slip from each others' lips made it all the more special.

They were equally impatient to fly away on the honeymoon Mia had planned (and funded, obviously) but the pair had to sort out little things before they did so. One particularly fun task was to do the shopping for the two weeks they would be away. Upon discussing with Gia and Liz, they came to the conclusion that Marjorie and Reece would come and stay with them for one week and take them to work with them on the weekends. Then, the following week, they would stay with Charlotte's parents. Georgia and Lizzie were both very, very fond of Marjorie, and the manager, to the current day, talked about how small baby Georgia was when she first met her.

As much as Charlotte was hesitant to leave them for the two weeks, both Reece and Charlotte's parents had told her she deserved the full honeymoon experience. To take it as a holiday away from responsibility, from being the hardworking mother she was. Charlotte knew deep down that it was okay because she and Mia had planned a different holiday, soon for the whole family to go on, so it wouldn't be like her kids were missing out. Frankly, she couldn't believe that Georgia was grown enough to basically take care of herself now, and the independence exuding from her eldest daughter was fascinating to both her and Mia.

Mia was waving her hand in Charlotte's face, in an attempt to grab her attention. When she had it, she asked her if she was ready to go on their grand shopping trip, to which the younger replied.

"Of course, I love a good shop with you, and this one will be even more fun because we'll actually be awaaayyy in just over 24 hours."

"Yes sweetheart, but today's shopping trip is a little different."

"Hm?" Charlotte looked up from the mug of coffee she was housing, and shot the redhead a suspicious look.

"I promise, no surprises or anything, we just have someone we need to visit. I think you'll remember when you see them." Mia turned away from Charlotte in an attempt to hold in her smile. This was going to be such a pointless but important trip to her. She had been thinking about it ever since she asked Charlotte to be her wife.

"Huh? Okay, I trust you, but nothing is coming to mind."  She paused again, smiling innocently, "But let me finish my coffee first?"

"Always baby, I'll go get dressed."

Char, in true fashion, downed her first coffee before making herself another, and shortly after, joined Mia in getting dressed and ready for the day.

Mia was ready a lot earlier than Charlotte was and was lying on the bed mindlessly scrolling on her phone. She couldn't help but glance up to watch Char concentrate putting her 'everyday look' on. Her lover looked angelic even completing the most routinely tasks of her day. Mia couldn't get enough of the way her beautiful wife's lips parted ever so slightly as she curled her eyelashes. She eventually stood up from the bed and positioned herself just a few steps behind Charlotte, mesmerised by the delicate movements. The way Charlotte puckered in the mirror, her eyes narrowing with a concentrated furrowing of her eyebrows as she carefully lined her lips, was a sight that Mia could watch forever.

To Mia, every gesture Charlotte made was a work of art. The soft, rhythmic rise and fall of her chest as she took steady breaths, the gentle sway of her hips as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other as she tried to turn her face to a different angle of the mirror—each motion captivated Mia. It was as if the entire world had slowed down, allowing her to soak in every precious detail of this intimate moment.

She watched the reflection of Charlotte's hands moving with grace and precision, the brush gliding over her lips, leaving behind a trail of perfect colour. Her fingers were steady, her touch delicate, and Mia could see the love and care Charlotte poured into even the simplest of tasks. It was an odd reminder to the kind of person she had married—meticulous, thoughtful, and endlessly irresistible.

Mia's heart swelled with an overwhelming rush of emotion. She felt like the luckiest person in the world to witness this, to share her life with someone as wonderful as Charlotte. The love she felt for her wife was so intense, so all-encompassing, that it almost left her breathless.

Charlotte caught Mia's gaze in the mirror, a soft blush spreading across her cheeks. She smiled, a small, knowing smile that made Mia's heart flutter. "What are you staring at Mrs. Roberts?" Charlotte asked playfully, her voice a gentle tease.

Mia stepped closer, wrapping her arms around Charlotte from behind. She rested her chin on Charlotte's shoulder, their reflections now side by side in the mirror. "Just you, Mrs. Roberts" Mia murmured, her voice thick with love. "I can't believe I get to spend my life with you. You're so beautiful, Char, in every way."

Charlotte turned her head slightly, her eyes meeting Mia's. "And I can't believe I get to spend mine with you," she whispered back, her eyes shining with affection. "You're my everything, Mia."

"Ooooh really, am I your everything? Come show me." Mia smirked, looking to the side so she could grab another glance at Charlotte. She loved to flirt with Charlotte like she was still trying to get her to fall in love with her, though those days were far gone, Char would always say she felt like she was falling for the redhead more and more with every moment. Who wouldn't?

"Don't be like that Amelia, I just got dressed and ready! If you wanted that, you should've asked when we were in the shower, or at least before I looked this good!"

Charlotte was being honest, but she was obviously talking in a witty tone. That didn't stop Mia from trying just once more to get what she wanted, just to test the waters.

"Okay, and you looking even better, and I don't know how that is possible... Makes it even harder to not want to. In the shower, I didn't want to interrupt that scalp massage you were giving me, gosh Char where did you learn that? I might even say it's better than se-"

"No, no don't finish that sentence. If you know what's good for you, because I'll want to prove it wrong."

"What if that's exactly what I want? Hm?" As she planted a soft kiss on Char's neck, her free hand wrapping around Charlotte's wrist, tugging it a little.

Charlotte gave her a serious look this time. "We have a long day ahead of us to prepare everything before we go away. It needs to be perfect. We have the entire honeymoon to do that..."

Mia just wanted to muck around. "God Char, is that all you take me for? Going to ride this Roberts the entire honeymoon? Feeling used much."

"You know that isn't what I meant. As if you'd ever complain about me doing that, Mia." Narrowing her eyes a little.

Mia gave her a cheeky grin in response, knowing she was absolutely right.

Her wife was always right.

"Ooookay Captain!" Mia put her hand to her forehead before saluting Charlotte in the mirror. Earning a nudge to the ribs.

"Seriously, let's do the shopping, clean this place, and all the little bits and bobs that need to be organised."

"Ma'am yes ma'am!" Followed by another salute which quickly resulted to Mia wrapping her arms around herself to protect from whatever attack Charlotte had in mind this time. Running out the door like a child to escape from the brunette's scary nature. Only Mia would be so afraid of Char, and that was something she took great pride in.

Mia pressed herself against the other side of the door, so she was protected but her sweetheart could still hear her.

"Hey wifeeeyy! Whoever gets to the car last is the one who has to unload the dishwasher when we are back, catch me if you can!"

Char sighed, hearing footsteps race down the stairs mid spraying her perfume. "For God's sake, this woman."
