RETURNING TO BERK

HICCUP POV:

I am currently at my room getting dressed because today is the day me, Astrid and Mom are going where we are born and we are taking Zephyr with us. Astrid wanted her to know about our origins. I accepted because I also wanted Zephyr to know where I came from but I don't want to go there because that's where my misery begin. As I looked at Astrid she is also getting ready in her Blue Armour she is excited because she wants to go see berk for herself and for her it's been more than four years that she left from there to here but I am not excited about it. Then Astrid looked at me and got worried because of my worried face then she walked towards me and hugged me which got me shocked as I hugged her then she said "I know what you are scared about Hiccup...." and I didn't say anything because she knows I don't want to go and she continued "...You don't want to go and I know you made this choice because you are worried about me...." As we break the hug and I looked at her worried eyes and she continued again "....Hiccup I want to thank you for saving me and for marrying me even though I am one of the reason that you want to left..." that got me shocked and I said "Astrid, I love you... but I am scared that there will bad memories that will come to my mind after we got there.... and don't say that you are one of the reason. I hate it when you say that." Then she smiled and said "Hiccup, you are strong and you made the right choice to go back to berk. I want to thank you not just for saving me but also for being with me for seven years. If you don't want to come then that's okay. I will be fine." Then I smiled and said "Astrid I have to go. Berk is part of the empire now and I also want to confront those memories and if I don't I will regret it..." then she smiled and said "Okay... but if you think it's too much for you. You will tell me okay..." as I smiled and nodded then she kissed my cheek and about to left but I grabbed her hand kissed her lips deeply as she put both hands behind my neck and kissed me deeply.

AN HOUR LATER:

We are currently at the docks where our ships are ready to depart there are Nine ships and the ones who are coming with me are Astrid, Mom, Zephyr, Stoick because he is the chief, Viggo, Alvin, Heather, Eret and some of the berkians but the children will stay here and Bjorn and Elise is also coming because they will be taking care of Zephyr, Stormfly and the Night Lights. Then when everything got ready and now we are looking at the final adjustments for the departure then Viggo said "Everything is ready, Your Majesty..." as I nod and said "Okay everybody get on the ship. It will take us a whole day to reach the Island. So Let's go." Then everybody said "YES YOUR MAJESTY...." then Astrid came beside me with Zephyr and I asked "Do you want to fly or do you want to go on a ship..." then she smiled and said "I will fly with you." Then I said "Okay then let's go." As she nodded then she picked Zephyr up and put her on Luna as she giggled and I sat on Toothless and she sat on Luna then we flew.

ASTRID POV:

After we flew towards berk the ships came behind us where there are few people of berk and some of our people. There are atleast nine ships total when I saw back there are my friends of berk on their dragons and Snotlout with Hookfang, Fishlegs with Meatlug and Ruffnut and Tuffnut with Barf and Belch. Snotlout, Fishlegs and Tuffnut are now advanced in their training except Ruffnut because of pregnancy. They gained the trust of the Dragons and they learned to fly with them. And now they are flying behind us and my mother in law with Cloudjumper, Heather with Windshear and Eret with Skullcrusher and Viggo is down there with the ships with his Dragon Skilla and Alvin is on the ships as well with Destructo then I said to Ruffnut "Ruff...." as she looked at me and I continued "...You should have stayed on the ship. You know that you are pregnant right..." as she smiled and said "And miss this. You didn't let me continue the training even though these three already more advanced in the training just because I am pregnant." Then I sighed and said "I know but I am just worried..." then Ruffnut said "It's gonna be fine Astrid..." Tuffnut said "She is right you know. You can't just go around causing chaos right now..." then Ruffnut groaned and said "You guys are joy kill. Look even Fishlegs is not even worried for me." Then Snotlout said "Because you threatened him that you will leave him if he doesn't follow you..." then Fishlegs worriedly said "Can you stop including me in this Snotlout. I am already upset that she is not listening to me." Then Ruffnut said "I am fine. I am not a piece of glass you know. I am strong and even Astrid gave me this saddle which Hiccup made...." yes the Saddle when I was with Zephyr. He made that Saddle for me. So, I could fly safely which made me feel loved at that time. Then I sighed and Zephyr said "Mom I don't want to grow up..." then I got confused and asked "Why..." then she said "Because they fight a lot." Then we giggled and I said "Zephyr we could be stubborn but that doesn't mean we fight a lot.... Well, We do fight with each other because we care for one another so that the person don't do anything irrelevant that could harm him or her..." then she said "Really..." then I smiled and said "Yes princess..." then she nodded and stopped asking questions and looked at front. Then I saw Hiccup who is not having a conversation with everybody then I sighed and said to Zephyr "Zephyr...." as she looked at me and I continued "...Will you be okay with your Grandmother for a while. I need to talk to your father privately..." and she nodded then I flew towards Valka who is talking to Heather then she looked at me and I said "Valka can you take care of Zephyr for a while. I need to talk to Hiccup privately..." as she looked at Hiccup and sighed and nodded then I smiled and gave Zephyr to Valka then I flew towards Hiccup who looks like in a lot of thought. Then I said "Hiccup..." as he came out of the dream and looked at me and I continued "....You okay." Then he sighed and said "I want to rest..." then I nodded and we flew back towards the our ship and we landed then the Vikings and Dragons bowed in front of us and I said "Can you guys give us a room for a while..." then Viggo came forward and said "Did something happen.." then Hiccup said "Nothing Viggo. Can you give us room for a while..." then he nodded and said to the guards "Okay guards do your work. We are almost there..." as they said "Yes sir..." then all the guards start working in the ships and Viggo said "I will be at the helm if you need me..." then we nodded and he left as well.

Then I looked at him and got worried because he looked down today and I asked "So tell me Hiccup what's going on..." then he sighed and looked towards the edge of the ship and said "I am scared..." which got me shocked and I asked "Can you tell me why..." then he said "To me it's been seven years and to you its been four years that we returned to berk. Astrid I am scared that if I return I will remember those awful memories that I have been trying to forget..." I looked at him worried and put a hand on his shoulder and said "Hiccup, those memories will never leave you. They will be with you till the day you die and that's a part of life... and that's how we differ from Drago and Grimmel like people. We may have Dragons, Friends and our families but we still remember the past that could help us. It could destroy us or it could help us grow for something more..." as he looked at me sadly and I continued "...I know it's hard and you are still trying to forgive but you are also strong. Don't let those memories came between in the way of the future. Hiccup, I love you and you know that but I also admired you... not because you have Toothless... or me... because you have a will to do what you want in your life and you choose this and look where are you right now. On a ship with me and the people who sees you as you are now. Hiccup, you are strong... stronger than anybody else... but if that place still remind you of those awful memories then I will be there standing right by your side to erase it in every way..." then he looked at me shocked and a second later he said "Thank you Astrid. I couldn't ask for anything else..." and he smiled at me and hugged me as I hugged him and smiled then after the few minutes later we break and then I caressed his cheek and he closed his eyes then I stand on my toes and kissed his head as he opened his eyes and looked at me then he smiled and I smiled at him.

FEW HOURS LATER:

We are now few minutes away from berk which got me excited and also nervous because I have been away from berk for more than four years then I looked at Hiccup he looked nervous as well but not from excitement but for old awful memories. I got sad while looking at him and it's true though he didn't have any good memories then I looked at Valka who have been carrying Zephyr which are now at the ship. She is also nervous about this because she is have been away from berk more than us. I sighed and looked forward towards the fog because none of us know what gonna happen when we reach berk.

HICCUP POV:

We are currently traveling through the fog and what Astrid said was right I should look forward without looking at the past because the past is gone and the memories remain always be in the past. Then a few seconds later the fog is cleared and we saw berk which is now under the Ice Spikes everywhere which got me shocked I know Drago did damage to berk but to this extent I never know about this. Everything is under the ice which could take four to five days to melt but if we call Light then that could help us. Then I smirked and thought 'What would berk think when I call Light.'

After the few minutes later we reached the shore and I sighed and thought 'we are here.' then I said "Okay we are here people. We need to set up camps... and berk whose homes are not much damaged and can be a place to rest tell us. Find some wood that can help us to burn for the night as well." Then everyone of my people yelled "YES YOUR MAJESTY...." then they bowed and left and berk left as well with Stoick. The people who are in the sky landed and Heather came forward and asked "What do we do..." then I said "Go on petrolling the other small islands around berk see if there is any enemy. If there is don't attack came back here and report me." and she nodded and left then I sighed and looked at Astrid she is waiting for me to come and looked excited then I said "If you wanna go Astrid you can go with Zephyr amd mom..." then they both looked at me and Mom put Zephyr down and said "Are you sure Hiccup..." and I nodded then Astrid said "Are you not coming..." then I said "I have some work to do. I will come though." As she sighed worriedly and nodded then she said to Zephyr "Princess.... let's show you my home. Where I came from..." then she excitedly said "Really..." and she nodded then Mom said "Hiccup I know it's hard-" "I know Mom but I will be fine. I just need some time alone..." as I cut her off then she sighed and nodded and then few seconds later they both left on their dragons and I stayed on the ship with Toothless and looked at Berk and saw the people who are at the shore. Alvin is talking to Stoick and Gobber and they are working on the tents with my people and Snotlout, Ruffnut, Tuffnut and Fishlegs are talking to themselves and going inside the village maybe looking for supplies that could help us. Then Toothless came towards me and cooed due to my insecurity and I patted him and smiled and said "I am fine Bud... just some old worrisome memories." As he cooed again and I sighed and looked at destroyed berk.
