10: Comfort

"Let's dance!" Ice put some music then started dancing with Eryx.

"C'mon it's gonna be fun." I offered my hand to Achelois. I smiled when she took it.

"Let's dance mademoiselle!" She just smiled and nod.

"Can we change the song to a slow dance?" I asked tumango lang sila.

Sa sobrang komportable na namin sa isa't isa. Sanay na kaming isayaw ang bawat isa. But since apat naman kami rito, by pair na lang.

I changed the song to a slow dance.

When I looked at them, Eryx and Ice are already dancing in their own. May sarili na silang mundo, I think hindi pa naman sila lasing. See, cute nila, kapag talaga nagkatuluyan 'yan. Hindi na imposible dahil wala ng Julie si Eryx.

"Can I have this dance madam?" I offered my hand and slightly lowered my head.

"With pleasure." I reached for her hand and put it over my nape. My arms automatically encircled to her waist as if its made to fit in there.

As we sway to the rhythm of the music, the sound of the waves hitting the shore, the cold breeze of air and the surrounding that is slowly eating by the darkness. 

We found ourself appreciating small things and enjoying our silence. I wanted to savor every moment, every laughters. It's comforting and it's strange because it feels like... I'm at home.

"This feels nice." I pull her closer and rested my head in her shoulder.

Mukha na tuloy kaming magkayap. I don't care though, she's soft and warm. Hindi kagaya nila Ice na yelo.

"You're warm..." I whispered

I felt her stiffen, I lightly pinched her waist.

"You're soft." She said na nakapagpatawa sa'kin.

We stayed in that position in a couple of minutes. It's amusing that I am loving the silence we're creating. It's not awkward, it's fulfilling something inside. It's like I am yearning in this kind of silence for so long. I never like silence this much, just now, just with her.

She tapped her fingers in my nape, counting whatever she's counting.

"A sight for sore eyes." She whispered

Ako ang unang humiwalay sa yakap pero nakawell placed pa rin ang braso saka tumingin sa taas.

"Wow..." Literally out of words

"That's so beautiful." She said

"There's a lot of stars and... our luna is shining brightly tonight." Ibinalik ko ang tingin ko sa kanya. I caught her looking at me but she immediately look up.

"You're looking at me huh?" I teased her. My arms are still wrapped around her waist.

"Nah-ah, above is more exquisite. I'd rather look at it than you." She said

"Wow! Parang ang panget panget ko naman." She chuckled

I never felt so comfortable to a stranger before...just now... just her.

She looked at me, it's like she's analyzing every inch and corner of my face. I smiled when her lips move.

"Ohhhh, you're attracted to my lips ah." I said playfully

Napabitaw naman siya dahil sa sinabi ko. Oh gago straight. Napangiti na lang ako ngtumalikod siya.

"Straight nga naman." I said, parang hindi ka straight ah. Bago ko pa siya mahawakan ay pumunta na siya sa inuupuan namin kanina at tumungga ng isang bote.
