CHAPTER FORTY EIGHT.
ABU DHABI.

Dariyah woke up the next day to the smell of fresh coffee. A smile grew on her face the second she saw Charles holding a cup of coffee with a smile of his own.

"Good morning, Brownies."

"Good morning, Lord Perceval." Dariyah giggled after seeing the annoyed look on his face.

"Funny." He glared playfully. "I'll show you what's actually funny." Dariyah didn't even get a chance to register his words and Charles was soon running his fingers on her stomach, tickling her.

Dariyah was almost wheezing with laughter of being tickled so badly. "Charles- I can't breathe- stop!" Dariyah struggled to form words.

"Say I'm your favourite racer and not Sebastian! I'll stop!" Charles laughed deviously, despite having a great racer as her boyfriend she once revealed to Lando that Sebastian Vettel was her favourite and he passed the information to her man.

"Lando?! God, I seriously can't trust him with anything!" Dariyah groaned, laughters echoing the whole room. "I can't lie!"

"Then, I guess this won't stop." Charles continued tickling her.

"Fine! You're my favourite racer!" Dariyah couldn't take it anymore, she let a breath out in relief when he finally stopped tickling her.

"You should've done that sooner." Charles chuckled. He was on top of her with her hands pinned each side. His eyes glanced at her plump and calling lips.

But before he could pull her in for a kiss, a notification came from her phone. "Sorry." Dariyah apologised, moving over to grab her phone.

"Shoot. It's Lav. I didn't tell them I was coming here last night. I gotta go." Dariyah stood up from the bed but she was pulled back into it by a firm hand. "Charles." Dariyah warned him as he started kissing her all over the face.

"What? You're finally in my arms after a long and painful month. You can't just expect me to let you go so easily." Charles snuggled into her neck, making her laugh.

"I know, baby, but our friends are waiting." Dariyah blocked his lips from attacking hers by placing a hand on them. "Now, get ready."

Charles pouted adorably which made Dariyah hard to resist. "Okay, we can maybe go a bit later." Charles smiled in satisfaction when she pulled him into a kiss. "But tell me one thing. How'd you get in here last night?"

"Carlos helped me. I was having trouble sleeping." Dariyah noticed the worry clouding his face. "I needed you. So, I came here and just by laying in your arms was enough for me to go back to a deep sleep." She tried to make his worry go away. "Where were you out so late last night anyway?" Dariyah asked back, brushing her messed up hair.

"Nowhere. Just to get some fresh air." Charles pursed his lips.

"Spill."

"I'm not lying." Charles voiced out, offended.

"I know you just as much as you know me. I know when you lie too, love." Dariyah winked. She watched his hesitation, it didn't take long for her to realise. "You didn't."
