CHAPTER SEVEN.
CHENNAI.

"Good evening. We'd like to book three rooms." Charles talked to the staffs in the reception while everyone else were gawking at the hotel.

"Wow. This is really massive and beautiful." Max commented, "and that's saying a lot, 'cause I've been to a lot of luxurious hotels. This is beautiful."

"It's just like I imagined." Rishi had an awe look at her face. Lando looked at her and gave her a smile. "I wasn't expecting you guys to bring me to such a beautiful hotel."

"There's still a lot of things we have to show you three, Mr. Norris." Rishi winked at him before walking towards Lavina who was busy taking pics of the hotel.

Dariyah walked towards Charles to give him some company since everyone else seemed to be mesmerised with the place. "How many nights would you like to book for, sir?" The receptionist asked him while clearly checking him out. She even had a little flirty tone in her statement.

"We'd like to book for a month." The receptionist eyes widened at his statement, she slid some of the strands of hair back her ear before smiling up at him. "You seem to be here without any help of a tourist. Maybe I could help with that?"

"We got it figured out. But thanks anyway." Dariyah butted in with a smile. The receptionist's face fell a bit before she smiled again, this time forcefully and just asked him the basic details before giving him their room keys.

"All right. Sight seeing is over. We got our rooms, let's go." Charles called the strays. All of them sat around a couch in the hall, waiting since there was a bit of clean up to do.

"I reckon we should get going. It's almost 3." Dariyah got up from her seat before someone grabbed her hand. She turned to look it was Charles.

"What do you mean? It's late." Charles eyebrows scrunched in confusion.

"Exactly why we're leaving?" Dariyah stated more like a question.

"It's not safe. Maybe I'll drop you off. All three of you." He added after noticing her friends look.

"No, Charles. It's already late you guys must be tired too. We'll go on our own. Thanks for the offer tho." Dariyah smiled at him.

"No. He's right. We noticed the kind of people were roaming at this hour. You shouldn't go alone." Lando joined in with Charles, Max nodded his head also in agreement with Charles.

"We can't just stay here." Rishi stated.

"Why not?" Lavina asked surprisingly, the other two girls turned to look at their best friend in disbelief, "I mean they've booked three rooms right?" The boys nodded their heads. "We can just take one room and ask two of them to share one. We can leave in the morning." Lavina shrugged her shoulders as if it was no big deal.

Dariyah looked at the fashion designer in disbelief. Sometimes she hated how much her friend let herself become comfortable with someone she just met.

"We're not doing that." Dariyah sternly stated looking at Lavina with a straight face.

"Why?" Max asked Dariyah.

"Because.." Dariyah looked at Rishi for help, she didn't want to sound rude.

"Because we don't want to over step our boundaries." Rishi finished, accepting the grateful look from Dariyah with a smile. "You guys are really cool and all but we just met. It's like we're taking advantage of you being rich."
