CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN.
MONACO.

Charles and Dariyah stepped out of his house after bidding their friends goodbyes. He walked her to his garage for his car, to say that her jaw was on the floor would be an understatement.

"All these are yours?!" Dariyah exclaimed, jumping in fright after hearing the echo of her own voice.

"Yes, Brownies." Charles chuckled, walking towards his favourite customised car. Ferrari Daytona SP3.

"Oh wow." Dariyah stepped back, intimidated by the door opening. "Are you sure that I can be sitting in this gorgeous? I'm scared to even touch it considering my clumsiness."

"I'm sure, Brownies. Now, just hold on a second." Charles immediately rushed to her side, holding up his hand for her to accept it.

"After you, Madame." I'm living the scene I've only ever read in books! Help me Ya'Allah!

"Um, sure." Dariyah's voice cracked, she cleared her throat and accepted his hand with a gentle smile.

"Oh my god, this feels like a dream. I'm already feeling nauseous. You see, I've never really sat in cars like these. And I tend to get easily overwhelmed and right now both you and the car are not helping my situation, so if we could just get ourself a Ford or Suzuki it'd be the best—"

"Dariyah!" Dariyah stopped her rambling mid-sentence. "Breathe. C'mon. One. Two. Three. Good, that's it. You're doing great, baby." Her heart calmed down only to race again with that name. "You okay?" Dariyah nodded her head, not believing herself that her voice wouldn't crack again.

"Good." He gave her a quick peck on the lips, smiling softly at her. "Let's start our date shall we?"

Dariyah intertwined their hands and nodded again with a smile. Charles raised their intertwined hands and pulled the gear and then they went off driving.

"Where are we going?" Dariyah asked after a moment of exchanging blushing smiles and love eyes.

"That's for me to know and for you to dot dot dot." Charles snickered.

"You watch The Vampire Diaries?" Dariyah looked at him in surprise.

"Doesn't everyone? It's like the best show ever to exist." Charles expressed out.

Dariyah laughed at his response. "What's so funny?" He looked at her, finding her more and more adoring as the day goes by.

"I just can't picture you watching TVD." Charles had an offended look on his face.

"I'll have you known I'm a hardcore Delena Stan. That's what they call right?" Charles asked.

"Yes, baby." Dariyah still couldn't control her laughter.

"Okay, okay. Stop laughing now." Charles ears grew red in blushing so hard.

"You're so cute, I swear." Dariyah smiled adoringly at her love.

"Would you like to listen to some songs?" Charles asked, knowing she needed something to distract her from the feeling of being in a car.
