CHAPTER FORTY FIVE.
ABU DHABI.

Charles rushed to Abu Dhabi as soon as he heard the news of Dariyah in the hospital. It took him a few hours to reach but he rushed to the hospital as soon as he landed.

He and the boys heard the news after his podium celebration after winning in the Budapest GP. He and the boys took off together. The girls were on their way as well.

He ran to where she was admitted, his face turning sour when he saw him sitting in front of Dariyah's room.

"What are you doing here? Were you a part of this? Tell me! I'm going to kill you-" The boys pulled the fuming Monegasque away from the silent Indian.

"Calm down, Charles. This is not the place to be doing this." Carlos adviced his teammate and close friend. Charles was still unwilling to tone down his death glare.

"He didn't do it. He was the one who saved her." Sneha revealed, attracting the boys' attention. "He's the one who informed me."

"Sneha." Pravin grimly said.

"Long time no see, Mr.Pravin." Sneha glared. "Now, tell me everything which led us to this situation."

Pravin sighed, already expecting the reactions he'd get after hearing the story. The rest of the girls arriving just in time to hear the story.

"The doctor said she had taken way more antidepressants than prescribed which led to her feeling sick. Fortunately, those weren't enough for life threatening condition. She's fine but in deep need for some shut eyes. She's sleeping and should probably be up by tomorrow morning." Pravin informed the concerned group of people.

"Antidepressants? Why does she have them?" Lavina asked, clueless of the whole situation. Charles and Sneha shared a look which didn't go unnoticed by Pravin.

"You two know." Pravin glared at the two. "Why did you hide it?"

"I'm sorry, I don't remember why we should be telling you all this? You're not even a part of her life anymore. Wake up from the past." Charles snapped, his eyes growing more darker as he continued to glare at the ex.

"But what about us? We're practically sisters, aren't we? Why did you hide it from us, S?" Rishi asked, heartbroken by not having known this before.

"She asked me to—"

"This is not some stupid gossip, S! It's about her life! You should've told us this even if she asked you not to!" Lavina glared at one of her bestfriends. The betrayal ache was incomparable over anything for her. "Are we really that unimportant to you both?"

Lavina and Rishi looked the most heartbroken over the fact of not knowing the news of one of their best friends' sickness.

"That's not—"

"It's fine. We can talk after Dariyah wakes up." Rishi forcefully smiled. "I'm going to get a coffee."

"I'll come with." Lavina gave a final glare at Sneha before walking away with Rishi. Lando pulled Carlos with him to follow the departing girls. "We'll calm them down."

Sneha sighed in regret. Charles placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's not your fault."

"Isn't it? I should've told them before." Sneha frowned.
