CHAPTER SEVENTEEN.
CHENNAI.

After the dinner, all of them bid each other goodbyes but this time the Lavina and Rishi joined Dariyah and Sneha.

Lavina, Rishi and Sneha gave the boys a goodbye hug while Dariyah just waved at them. The boys knew her well enough to understand this was as close as she would warm up to them.

"Will you answer me if I text you tonight?" Charles asked her when the others were busy conversing with each other, probably talking about their trip to Kodaikanal.

"It depends. If I'm awake then I'll maybe reply." Dariyah gave him a teasing smile. Charles just shook his head with a smile, "So, is that a yes?"

"We'll see." Dariyah winked at him, walking towards her car. Charles playfully glared at her before smiling.

"It's so annoyingly obvious isn't it?" Lavina had a disgusted expression, looking at the two who were basically eye fucking yet they had no idea what the other was feeling.

"Would it be okay if I were to hit them with this brick?" Lando asked, gesturing to the brick laying nearby them.

"What do we gotta do to make them confess?" Carlos asked, looking really confused at his two friends situation.

"She needs time. Lots of it. It'd take a while before they get together." Sneha sighed.

"Did her ex mess her up that bad, that she still hasn't completely moved on for the last 7 years?" Max asked, concerned for his friend.

"You have no idea. It makes me so mad that she doesn't hate that douche bag." Rishi huffed, thinking of her friend's ex boyfriend was enough to get her riled up.

"Do any of you know his address?" Max asked.

"Why?" Sneha asked him, confused.

"Just to chat." Max kept his hands inside his pocket.

"We don't know." Lavina sighed, tired. "All we know is that he lives two streets away from the school me and Dariyah studied in." Sneha revealed.

"Do they still follow each other?" Lando asked.

"Unfortunately, yes. They even wish each other on their birthdays mostly only Dariyah does." Rishi answered.

"What the fuck?" Max asked, dumbfounded.

"I know. She wouldn't listen no matter how many times we tell her. Fuck first loves, man." Sneha massaged her forehead, getting a headache just by thinking how naive her best friend is.

"Which is why we have to get those two together." Carlos stated. "And what makes you think he'll be the one for her?" Lavina asked with a glare, she still couldn't forgive him for what he did.

"It's Charles. He's literally one of the biggest green flags in the world." Carlos looked at Lavina with an irritated look.

"Not from what I heard." Sneha had her eyes turn into slits.

"What do you mean?" Lando asked.

"I researched about him and..." Sneha turned to glare at the said boy giving her best friend heart eyes. "... found some interesting things."
