CHAPTER TWENTY NINE.
CHENNAI.

It was almost time for the boys to leave and get back to their reality. The group spent the rest of the days by spending each and every minutes together. They roamed around Chennai more finding the hidden gems which even the girls never knew. They made sure to savour each and every moment they spent together.

Now, here they were. Standing infront of the airport with all the luggages and souvenirs they bought to take it with them.

Dariyah could swore she saw tears filling up her eyes as the time went by for their departure. Out of all of them Sneha and Rishi were the only ones who rarely cried but nowadays Rishi was changing yet Sneha remained the same. And now seeing her become emotional over the boys they met just a month ago made Dariyah realise the boys are not going to be in their lives just for a month, they were going to be around longer.

But Dariyah then smiled when she realised it wasn't just her who realised her best friend getting emotional but someone else did as well. The person brought her into a hug and she hugged back with equal emotion.

"Are you just going to stand there and not say goodbye to me?" Dariyah turned back to see Charles standing behind her. It was only then the realisation dawned on her causing tears to well up in her eyes. We're going to be apart. Again.

"Charles." Dariyah hugged him with so much feelings being expressed. Longing, Desperation, Unwillingness, Fear and most importantly Love.

Charles chuckled into the hug yet hugged her with the same warmth. He smiled into her hair finding so much comfort and warmth with her. "Yeah, you're not going to miss me." He sarcastically whispered into her hair, chuckling when he felt her soft slaps on his shoulders.

"Oi, lovebirds!" The two pulled away annoyed by Lando once again for always ruining their moment. "There's still time till we have to leave. Fancy some lunch before then?" Lando gave them an innocent smile.

"Sure, Lando." The couple glared at the British driver. The met each others eyes and sighed. Dariyah intertwined their hands and walked with him towards the cafeteria in Airport.

They had ordered their lunch and were asked to wait for a few minutes. Not wanting to waste time by just sitting around, Dariyah dragged Charles towards a book store for some alone time.

The two giggled, flirted and shared some discreet kisses in the book store. "So, you're telling me that you're a bookworm? Wow, I'd have never guessed that after seeing the whole bookshelf in your room." Charles sarcastically said and then pulled her closer by her waist, giving a peck on her lips after confirming no one was around.

"Hey! I'm just starting to open myself up! There's still a lot you don't know about me." Dariyah hit him lightly with a book and then shaking her head at his terrible acting of being hurt just by her no-force hit. "I barely even touched you."

"That's the problem. I can't go on without having you close, so lessen this pain by always being close to me, Brownies." He pulled her closer again and the two laughed together like teenagers in love. In a way they were, having found each other after waiting for 15 years. The friendship in which they started off with slowing started to develop into something more and beautiful as they waited more and more to be in each others presence.

"How am I supposed to keep going without having you beside me the whole time after this?" Dariyah whispered, leaning her forehead onto his with closed eyes, trying to savour it as much as she could.
