CHAPTER FORTY SEVEN.
ABU DHABI."So, tell me, to what do I owe the presence of your royal highness in my house at 2 in the morning." Pravin came into the living room after putting on his shirt and two cups of coffees on his hand.
"You can drink it. I haven't poisoned it." Pravin scoffed when he saw the hesitation in Charles' face when he raised the cup of coffee infront of him.
"I'm not staying long. No thanks." Charles coldly declined the cup of coffee.
"Suit yourself." Pravin shrugged his shoulders and sat on the couch opposite to Charles. "Dariyah asked for me, didn't she?"
"Oh please, Charles. We both were together for years, do you think I wouldn't know how her mind works?" Pravin chuckled, watching the surprised look on Charles' face.
"Why did you come back into her life? Why, now? She was finally getting better and you think you could just waltz in and ruin it again?" Charles leaned forward, his face stoic and eyes filled with fury.
"I didn't do shit. It's this thing where we bump into each other somehow. We always end up meeting one another no matter how long. If you want to blame anyone blame the fate." Pravin leaned back with a smug look on her face.
"Now, tell me the actual reason of you being here. I know you didn't come to just ask me why I'm back in her life again." Amusement had now disappeared from Pravin's face as he met Charles' eyes with a cold stare. "Came here to threaten me to stay away from her? If it's that then I can't help you, buddy. I'm her client, it'd be impossible to stay away from her."
"I am here for that, yes. But I've also come here to remind you of how you ruined the "love of your life's" life." Charles smirked.
"I heard of how you two fell in love. I heard of how you kept breaking her heart because of your stupid pranks. I heard of how you used her for you personal satisfaction— yeah, she told about them. If I hadn't promised her that I would never harm you, you would be 10000 feet under the ocean right now. And unlike you, I like to keep the promises I made to the woman I love. I heard of how you treated her when you two were together. I heard all about your fake promises. So, just consider yourself lucky and stay away from her and it's not a request." Charles chuckled in satisfaction when he noticed the mug Pravin was holding almost slipping out his hand due to his excessive sweating.
"You think of yourself as this true loving boyfriend when you didn't even treat her like a normal fucking human being. You took her for granted and took advantage of her." If looks could kill, you wouldn't want to be Pravin.
"I never took advantage of her." Pravin objected causing Charles to let out a chuckle humourlessly.
"You did. You forced her to send intimate pictures of herself. You blackmailed her into sending those pics. Now, if you come up with an excuse saying you were young, then you should know that you're not supposed to be asking those pictures in the first place when you're young. If you were mature enough to ask for those, then you must be mature enough to know that when a woman says no, it means no." Charles was watching him like a predator watching its prey. One wrong move and he would be gone.
"It wasn't even a full naked picture! It was with her bra, that doesn't mean anything. I was asking her to send it with only her hands on them but she said no and I got ma—" And there it was, he made the wrong move and now the predator got his moment. Pravin crouched in pain after he got punched in the jaw from the Monegasque.
