Anxious

Adelaide's POV

"Magaling ka na, you are able to make all the flowers bloom," my mother complimented me.

We were in our mansion's garden. She was standing beside me and I was sitting in a wooden chair in front of all our flowers.

My mother went to pick a very beautiful red rose that bloomed when I ordered it.

"You can put this in a vase, I will send some to the palace," nakangiti niyang sabi sa akin.

"Do you think that Empress Victoria and Empress Eira would love it?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

She held onto my right cheeks and smiled a gentle. "You need not worry, Adelaide. Sigurado akong magugustuhan ng mga Empress ang mga bulaklak mo."

I stared at the red roses again and was excited to have them delivered to the palace.

It has been a tradition for me to send flowers in the palace since the new Empress, Eira, was crowned.

Kahit na lumaki ako sa Auroravale ay hindi ko pa rin kilala lahat ng anak ni Empress Victoria maliban nalang sa bagong Empress.

Narinig ko naman na nakikipaghalubilo ang mga Prinsipe at Prinsesa nila sa mga mamamayan. Baka ako lang talaga ang hindi masyadong lumalabas.

"You can pick the flowers that are going to be delivered in the palace, Mama."

She nodded at me and smiled.

My parents are just normal citizens in Erderos but they are loved and adored by many.

"Magandang umaga, Lady Adelaide, kamusta ang mga bulaklak na ipapadala mo sa palasyo?" Nakangiting tanong sa akin ng katulong namin.

Ngumiti rin ako sa kanya ng matamis. "Si Mama po ang mag aasikaso nito at magpapadala sa palasyo," sagot ko sa kanya.

"Narinig ko na may pagsasalo na magaganap sa palasyo, na ihanda mo na ba ang susuotin mo?" Usisa niya.

I shook my head. "Hindi ko nga po alam na may pagsasalo sa palasyo, para saan po ito? At kailan?"

"Sa kabilugan ng buwan pa naman," nakangiting sagot niya.

"Matagal pa po pala, may panahon pa ako para maghanda," I answered. "Mauuna na po muna ako sa inyo.

Instead of going inside the mansion, I found my way to the forest and climbed the mountain. I found peace in nature's heart and that made me smile.

I went beside the cliff and sat on the edge of the rock. Makikita dito ang mataas na pader na nakapalibot sa buong siyudad.

I have always dreamed of going outside the gates.

King Archibald and Empress Victoria decided to close Auroravale from outsiders for an unknown reason. No one can go out of the city.
