Yzabelle's POV

To be chosen by nature itself was a privilege. Not because of the power nature blesses you, but because of the feeling that you are trusted by it.

But what comes along when you work with nature?

Danger.

I never thought that I was being watched... I didn't even think that someone would be interested in me.

Sure, I dreamt of meeting my beloved but I wasn't the kind to look for it. I have always believed that love will come my way.

I waited for love to come only for it to be brought by someone who would cause my destruction.

"Sino ka at ano ang pakay mo sa akin?" I asked the man who was staring at me like I was some kind of prey.

By his looks, I concluded that he was a dark lord from the abyss. So what is he doing here when he belongs to the world below?

Plants around me started shaking, I could feel the vines underground, moving, and just waiting for my command.

He didn't look like someone who could be trusted.

I glanced at the back, where my oracle friend was at, hoping that she wouldn't return sooner. Ayokong mapahamak siya.

"Sagutin mo ang tanong ko," utos ko sa kanya.
"I am Ravik," he answered with so much confidence like I should know his name.

I frowned when I realized that the flowers in the enchanted grove started dying. It may have been because of this man's presence.

"Please leave," I said and turned my back on him.

I was supposed to walk away but I felt him moving so I had no choice but to use my power to stop him from touching me.

Glowing vines were tied in his wrist and his legs, preventing him from moving.

"Ano ang iyong pakay?!" Sigaw ko.

The trees started falling down because of my scream. Even they could feel my frustration. Because what could happen to me if I didn't feel him moving towards me?

"Ano ang pakay mo?!" Tanong ko ulit.

The leaves started floating, and harsh plants started growing around me.

He easily got off the vines and even had the guts to clean his top. "Feisty," he joked. "Azrak."

My forehead creased when he uttered a person's name.

"Now," he said while smirking.

I didn't get the chance to react when the ground I was standing broke down and had me falling for forever until I reached the underworld.

"What did you do?!" I shouted when I finally stopped falling. "Why did you bring me into your lair, Dark Lord?!"

"We are to get married," diretsa niyang sagot.

"Nahihibang ka na ba?! Hindi kita kilala kaya bakit kita papakasalan?!" Gulat kong tanong. "Also, you are not my beloved!"

"Listen, I have been keeping an eye on you..." lumapit siya sa akin. "Ang iyong mga mata na tila nagtatago ng milyong misteryo, ang pag galaw ng iyong buhok sa tuwing nakaharap ka sa mga halaman mo, nabihag mo ako, Yzabelle."
