Chapter 3: Shadows

Shadows

Leon's POV

"Mauna na kayo," I told my siblings and the three of them looked at me at the same time with questioning eyes.

Robin raised her brow at me.

"I'm also going to look for Blair," I said to stop her from asking more questions. She stared at me for a long time before looking away and shrugging her shoulders.

"Sige, magkita nalang tayo sa tinutuluyan natin, Kuya," Magnus answered and I just nodded.

"I'll meet the three of you later," I told them.

It was night already and I blended with the darkness to look at the dazzling woman I saw at the shop.

She may have never noticed how her hands were glowing with the shade of dark green at the same time the flowers started appearing at the bottom of my feet.

She was cute.

Her face looked so innocent and the short time I saw her, I already noticed her mannerism. Biting her pink lips.

I was surrounded by the darkness when I saw her passing down the road riding her horse.

She had green eyes, hair that fell to her waist. Her dress was in the color green like her eyes too and she was smaller than me.

I didn't know why I wanted to make sure that she comes home safe, I just found myself outside the gate of their mansion and just left when I saw her getting inside.She even surveyed the surroundings like she felt me in the dark.

I went out of the dark and put my hand inside my pocket while slowly walking to find Blair.

Blair have been missing since this morning, he was last seen together with the mages that helped him train.

The sky was covered in darkness so it was easy for me to use my powers and look for my brother.

I could feel Blair's presence at the mountain so I brought myself there. I blended with the shadows to help me get to Blair quickly.

"Blair," I called my brother and there I saw him with the mages who bowed in my presence. "Eira is angry," I told him.

His eyes widened to what I said and he tried to hide it. "You made us worried."

"The Empress is going to kill me," alam kong si Eira ang tinutukoy niya.

I don't know why but instead of being scared of our mother, we're all scared of Eira. It's quite funny because I am older than her but I'm scared of her too.

Maybe it's because of her cold stare and her cold voice and the power surrounding her.

"Just apologize, she's too soft for you so you should be good," I told him.

"Why are you guys here?" Tanong ko sa mga mage.

"We apologize, Prince Leon, the portal took us here and we found it hard to go home faster because we encountered enemies," a man said.

Napakunot ang noo ko sa aking narinig. "Are you okay?" I surveyed Blair's body and was relieved that he was fine. "Tell me about it when we go back to the palace."

Darkness crawled at the bottom of our feet and then it covered all of our bodies.

"Ano ba yan!" Magnus, with his loud voice, sounded frightened when we suddenly appeared in front of him.

He was alone and sitting at a wooden chair."San ka nanggaling bata?" He stood up and went to Blair.

Our youngest brother just looked at him and didn't answer before going to where Robin was standing.
