Lost for Words

Leon's POV

I was in the meeting with the councils talking about the enemies the mages told me about.

"I wonder how they managed to get inside?" A council asked.

I played my hand on my bottom lip before answering. "Let's just stay on guard," I answered. "Are you still planning to open the city, Empress?" I asked my sister who was looking bored too.

"Hmm..." she nodded. "It's for the better, I know that our people are dying to go out and I think it would be better if we form an alliance with the other cities just in case something happens."

"That makes sense," I agreed with her.
The meeting went on for hours and I was getting bored already. When it finished, I quickly stood up to leave the room.

Our enemies are said to be fire holders, what do they want now?

"Kuya," I automatically stopped walking when I heard Eira's voice behind me. "Nasaan si Blair? Hindi pa siya nagpapakita sa akin simula ng makabalik siya."

"Maybe he's in his room—"

I was stopped midway my sentence when I heard Magnus's voice on our way to us. He was pulling Blair's suit. "Magpakita ka na kay Ate hindi ka naman papatayin nun!"

"Stop it, Magnus!" Blair tried to get away. I smiled when I realized that he didn't use his powers to make Magnus stop.

"Nag aalala na kasi yun!" He insisted.

"What are you two doing?"

I quickly left them when I heard Eira's cold voice.

Ayoko ng madamay.

"Leon?" Eira called for me so I stopped walking and slowly turned my head to her.

"Oh?"

"Anong ginagawa nila?"

Why don't you see for yourself, princess?

But of course I didn't say it to her. I still want to see that flower so I can't afford to freeze.

"Tatakas ka pa ha," ngumisi si Magnus sa akin.
Blair looked at me like he was crying for help. I just sighed and stayed a meters at Eira's back.

"Blair..." her cold voice echoed throughout the hall.

I even saw Magnus closing his eyes like he was defeated.

"Saan ka galing? At bakit ngayon ka lang nagpakita sa akin?"

Blair glanced at me again, asking for help but I didn't do it, I just looked at the huge windows and paintings.

I even noticed the smallest detail inside our palace.

"Kasi..." napalingon si Blair sa buong paligid, naghahanap ng kakampi.

"I'm waiting, Blair."

Blair didn't answer and just looked at Eira.

Nagpapaawa.

When I heard Eira's sigh, I was relieved. She was not mad so we were safe.

"Hindi naman ako magagalit eh," she told him and extended her hand to touch Blair's cheek.
"Nag aalala ako sayo tapos pagbalik mo hindi ka pa nagpakita agad."

"You made it hard for me to be found because you made it snow," panunumbat ni Blair.

"I was worried, okay?" Eira defended herself. "Tinanong lang kita pero alam ko na kung anong nangyari sayo, okay ka lang ba?" She gently asked our brother.
