Danger
Adelaide's POV
He scratched the back of his head. "Ganyan talaga kapag makisig eh," he said.
He looked like he was waiting for an answer, nakatayo lamang siya sa harap ko kaya napilitan akong ngumiti sa kanya bago siya iniwan doon.
"Empress Victoria," I called her.
She was standing in the middle of the frozen flowers and she looked like she was talking to them. She didn't notice when I called her so I had the time to stare at her.
Her hair was braided into a beautiful crown, and her face shape was like a diamond, she had high cheekbones and her eyes had a tint of gold. She was taller than me.
Despite having six kids, she still looked so young. Although we never really age.
"Oh, Adelaide, you're here already?" She looked happy when she saw me. "Can you help me? I know my daughter Eira won't mind," she went to me and held my hand to take me in front of the flowers.
"Can you give them colors? They look..." she stared at the flowers, thinking of a word. "Hmm, they look too... icy?" She said... not sure. "Look, they're beautiful and all, but they just looked like an iced flower, can you color them?"
I smiled. I just realized that Prince Magnus is just like her. Makulit. "I can do that, Your Majesty," I told her.
"Go on," she held her own hands, making tiny claps. "I want to see."
I took a deep breath before closing my eyes. My hand started glowing green to the ground where I was standing. My powers looked like it was crawling to the flowers surrounding me.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw how gently the ice flowers were painted with different colors. There was blue, pink, purple, orange, yellow, and red. They were still made of ice but they had colors now.
I could feel someone staring at me and I thought that it was the empress but when I turned to meet its gaze, I saw Leon with his arms crossed in chest, looking at what I was doing.
"So beautiful!" The empress clapped again and hugged me before kneeling to the flowers. "Thank you, dearest," she looked up to me and smiled before enjoying the flowers.
Nag lakad ako palapit kay Leon. "Bakit nandito ka?"
"I was looking for you," he said and then he looked at the flowers. "What you did was beautiful and breathtaking."
"S-salamat."
"Are you sure you're going back to Erderos today?"
