The Beginning
Leon's POV
I stared at Adelaide who was watching as the lanterns flew through the sky, her green eyes reflecting the lights from the lantern. But her smile was brighter than the lanterns she was watching.
"Nakakahiya ka kuya, para kang nasisiraan kung makatitig sa kanya!"
My forehead creased while watching Magnus's face as if he was disgusted. He was even hugging himself like the idiot he is.
"Shut up," I warned him.
"Leon tingnan mo, yung atin nalang yung nakikita!"
I faced Adelaide, she was pointing at the two lanterns shining above us. "Come here," I gently pulled her hand and hugged her.
"Hindi ko talaga makita yung sarili ko na ganyan," Magnus blurted.
Adelaide step back and faced Magnus. "Nasasabi mo lang yan ngayon," she joked.
"Luh! Hindi talaga!"
"You sure about that, Magnus? I have seen you sneak out of the palace just to have fun with some nymphs and enchantress."
We all turned to Tobias who was raising his eyes to our brother. "I wouldn't be shocked if you get cursed for breaking all that woman's heart," Tobias shook his head in disbelief.
"Are you dumb?!" We all looked away when Eira spoke.
"Ate wag kang maniwala! Naglalaro lang kami!" He even had the guts to defend himself. "Ginusto naman nila yun!"
"Hindi ka naman siguro mambabae, diba Leon?" I turned to look at Adelaide.
"No. You're the only flower in my garden," I kissed her forehead.
"Aray! Hindi na nga!"
Magnus was trying his best to stop Eira's hands who was smacking his arms.
"Come on, Snow, you're hurting him," Percival held the Empress's waist and pulled her closer to him.
"Ayan! Makinig ka kay Lord Percival."
"I swear Magnus, if you don't stop breaking those people's hearts," Eira warned her.
The night went well, if it's not for the vampire guest, Victor, who seemed to darken the mood.
He was a pure jerk, I could say that. He doesn't look like someone who should be trusted, and I was right.
He was only here to steal something from my sister.
Adelaide's POV
Days have passed and our city has faced attacks from the enemies, just yesterday, the city was surrounded with waters good thing that the Empress and princess Robin was there.
Leon was now wondering where the Empress and her lover is. They haven't got out of her tower and he was so sure that they were not there.
Kahit tahimik lang siya ay alam kong nag aalala siya sa kapakanan ng kapatid niya. At dahil wala ang Empress, siya ngayon ang namamahala sa parating na digmaan.
Gabi na at mag isa ako ngayon na naglalakbay patungo sa Erderos upang paghandain ang mga nilalang na naninirahan doon.
Hindi ko alam kung ako lang ba ang nakakardaman nito ngunit ang nga halaman sa paligid ay parang may dalang tensyon.
Saktong pagdating ko sa Erderos ay nakarinig kami ng nakakabinging pagkabasag sa itaas namin.
