Chapter 18

The group arrives at the second sentinel factory, which happens to be a derelict power plant, and they spring out of Ecto-1 into action. Peter heads to the trunk to gather the ghost equipment. They strapped on their proton packs, and Ray tosses his PKE boomerang into the air to analyze for any hauntings. The first paranormal anomaly reveals factory machines running by themselves, while the first active sample unveils a canister of chem fluid followed by a set of wooden crates coated in ectoplasmic residue. The second paranormal anomaly reveals to be whispers from ghosts of the people who lost their lives from forced labor. The first set of ghosts appeared to be class 6 anthropomorphic animators. The second active sample reveals a video cassette with a cryptic message hidden inside. The second set of ghosts appeared to be spirits of people who died during labor, for their deaths connecting to the destitute working conditions became the factor of lesser to no pay. The third set of spirits appears to be a couple of odious poltergeists, causing a ruckus with burning ash. The third paranormal anomaly unveils canisters of oil burst into flames, and the fourth paranormal anomaly consists of switches being pulled to activate the factory's assembly line. The fifth paranormal anomaly reveals the lights of the abandoned power plant flickering on and off at the same time, and the final paranormal anomaly reveals sparks flying from out of the apparatuses and malfunctioning its technological systems. After completing a full analysis of the abnormal hauntings within the power plant, Ray retrieves his PKE boomerang and places it back in his proton pack to recharge.

"Alright, team, we've got a lot of activity here," Ray informed, his eyes scanning the readings on his PKE meter. "The machines are moving on their own, and we've got ectoplasmic residue on those crates."

"And look at this," Peter called out to the team, holding up the canister of chem fluid. "This stuff is used to create the Sentinels' ghostly energy source."

Egon's eyes narrowed. "The whispers we're hearing are from the ghosts of the people who were forced to work in this factory. We need to help them find peace."

Winston nodded. "Let's get to work, team. We've got a lot of ghosts to bust and a factory to shut down."

Deborah drew her proton whip, her eyes scanning the area. "I've got a lock on the first ghost. Let's go!"

The team charged forward, their proton streams blazing as they faced the vengeful spirits and the sinister forces controlling them. The battle was intense, but the young Ghostbusters were determined to save the day and put an end to the Sentinels' evil plans. The fate of the world lies within their hands. They noticed a horde of factory golems, consisting of 10 class 6 anthropomorphic animated golems, emerging from the halls. The young ghostbusters realized they are surrounded by a horde of class 6 anthropomorphic animators or, poltergeists, as Egon referred to.

"Winston, I'm going to need you to shut down the apparatuses that are operating the assembly line. Ray, im going to need you to distract the factory golems while Winston is taking care of the machines. The rest of us will take care of the factory golems." Egon ordered.

"We'll do it!" Winston nodded.

The horde of factory golems lays their sights on the group they are described as class 5 anthropomorphic animators made of antique factory apparatuses with electric motors affixed to their backs. Deborah tosses her proton whips at the first factory golem, wrangling it down with complete force. Peter extracts his proton mini-gun and fires his proton stream to attract the attention of the second factory golem. Egon Spengler III equips and charges his proton fist at the third factory golem. The first factory golem extends its right hand to hit Deborah, but it misses and launches its other hand. She deflects its attack using her proton shield, and Ray fires his proton arrow at the first factory golem in its metallic head. Proton particles disperse around the first factory golem, and the first factory golem collapses as the electric ghost inside dissipates from existence. Egon cartwheels to evade the second factory golem's vicious attack and counters with a barrage of proton punches.
