After the final war and claiming victory over the Shadow King, everything around the city and Krakoa appear to be at peace once more, and the young ghostbusters and the X-Men save the world from years of darkness. The young ghostbusters and the X-Men claimed victory once again and put an end to the Shadow King's existence. It comes to the point that Macey has two of her biological parents by her side, Scott Summers and Thelma Tisgue. The young ghostbusters have accomplished the longest mission of their careers. As they huddle together for a huge group picture, Dr. Spengler and Professor X enjoy the moment.
The young Egon adjusts his digital camera into selfie mode. Thelma rests her head on Cyclops's broad left shoulder. Egon presses the button to begin the 10 second mark as he hustles to join the others.
"OK, everyone! Say Ghost-X!" Egon shouted.
Dr. Spengler and Professor X stood on either side of the group, proud of their young protégés. The young Ghostbusters and X-Men squeezed together, their arms around each other's shoulders.
As the camera counted down, they all shouted in unison: "Ghost-X!"
The camera snapped a photo, capturing the moment forever. The team cheered, and Egon rushed back to examine the photo on his digital camera.
"Perfect!" he exclaimed, grinning. "That's going straight to the Ghostbusters' and X-Men's hall of fame!"
The team laughed, basking in the glow of their hard-won victory. As they walked off together, arm in arm, the city and Krakoa shone brightly behind them, symbols of their triumph over evil.
The final shot was of the Ghostbusters' and X-Men's logos side by side, with the words "Ghost-X: United Against Evil" emblazoned below, as the screen faded to black.
In memory of Stan Lee for Marvel Comics (1922-2018) and Ivan Reitman (1946-2022) for the Ghostbusters franchise.
Post-credits scenes
The Young Ghostbusters:
Peter is in the doctor's office with his fellow young Ghostbusters by his side, knowing he's going to get vaccinated for the influenza.
"I can do this. I can do this." Peter spoke to himself.
"Peter, how many times do we have to tell you? You already conquered your worst fear. Why do it now?" Egon asked.
"Tell that to Ray. He said it was due today." Peter answered.
"I apologized. I knew I could've informed him about this flu season coming up." Ray sighed.
"And you know this because?" Deborah queried.
"Because the Corps has recommended for everyone to take the vaccine during their checkup." Ray answered.
Peter removes his Ghostbusters jacket and rolls up his sleeve of his shirt.
"Here comes the doctor." Winston pointed out.
The doctor, who happens to be Beast himself, enters the room with a chart in his hand.
"Dr. McCoy, this is a surprise." Ray responded.
"I'm humbled with your words, Raymond." Beast responded, "What I'm expecting of the next school year can open a door to greater possibilities."
"Even doc can address it." Egon smiled.
"OK, Peter." Beast responded, checking his notes on his office clipboard, "You're due for a flu vaccine, I see."
"I'm ready, doc. Let's get this over with." Peter sighed, resting his right arm.
"You better go easy on him because he couldn't get his mind off his phobia." Egon spoke to Dr. McCoy.
"I see. Very well." Beast nodded, administering the syringe with the flu vaccine.
"Whenever you're ready, doctor." Peter sighed, relaxing his right arm as his eyes divert toward the others.
"OK, you may feel a pinch." Beast advised, and he injects the vaccine into Peter's right shoulder, "all done."
"That was quick." Winston responded.
"Definitely the reason. Every flu season needs a vaccine to fend away any potential viruses connecting to the disease." Ray stated.
"Precisely, young Ray." Beast nodded.
"How do you feel, Peter?" Deborah asked.
"I'm feeling alright despite the side effects of the vaccine." Peter answered, rubbing his shoulder.
"You'll be fine, Venkman. You did conquer your fear." Egon chuckled nervously.
"I'm uncertain how the vaccine works, but this vaccine would last for a while." Ray claimed.
"This wasn't so bad." Peter sighed in relief, and Beast placed a bandage on the spot where he injected the vaccine, "I just hope this can help me..." he paused and noticed Deadpool's logo on the bandage, much to his chagrin, "DEADPOOL!!!!"
"Here we go again!" Egon sighed in disbelief as Venkman dashed out of the doctor's office, "after him!"
The X-Men:
Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Wolverine, and Rogue were outside enjoying their lunch as they watched Thelma Tisgue swinging on a vine. The children of the academy watch her in awe, and flowers begin to bloom by her presence.
"I see Thelma is enjoying herself at the Xavier School for Gifted Children. Now, Spengler and Xavier School for Gifted Children and Aspired Ghost Hunters." Jean smiled.
"It's the best of both worlds. Merging schools was Dr. Spengler's idea, and I like it a lot, sugah." Rogue smiled.
"Remind me why Venkman got his vaccination?" Cyclops asked the others, raising his eyebrow.
"Good question, Cyclops." Storm responded in puzzlement.
"Here's your proof." Wolverine pointed out with a mischievous smirk, and they see Deadpool running from an enraged Peter Venkman III with the other young Ghostbusters going after him, tending to straighten the situation out as possible.
"Get back here, you mischievous mangling mook!" Peter exclaimed furiously.
"Hey, come on, man! I didn't do it this time!" Deadpool exhorted, trying to run from him.
"Then, why was your logo on that bandage?" Peter questioned, incensed, zapping him with his proton mini-gun.
The other young ghostbusters chase after their friend, attempting to reason with him. Beast appears from the office and turns to his fellow X-Men.
"I guess that bandage must have angered young Venkman." Beast shrugged.
"For what reason, Beast?" Cyclops asked.
"You know who." Beast pointed out to the chase.
"Come on, man! I said I was sorry!" Deadpool shouted.
"Saying sorry doesn't solve this problem once I have your sorry ass in the scrap heap!" Peter exclaimed.
Macey Summers glances at the others and joins in on the chase, leaving Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Thelma Tisgue going after her. Wolverine, Rogue, and Storm join in on the chase. Beast slaps his forehead in disappointment, surmising the situation happening.
The end.
