Back at the house, with their clothes lain on the floor, Thelma Tisgue wakes up from her sleep to find steam scattering the room. A fragrant stench of cologne has roused her senses. She stretched her slender arms into the air for the morning air courses through her face. Thelma's eyes fluttered open, and her gaze seemed blurry due to sleep. As she sat up, she noticed the steam swirling around her, casting a misty veil over the room. She rubbed her pine green eyes, wondering if she was still dreaming. Thelma Tisgue covers her naked body with the whole blanket and suspects an aromatic stench that occurred from the bathroom on her right. The steam enshrouds the extent of the room, and she gazes at the spot where it occurs.

But as she circumvented the scope of the bedroom, she saw Cyclops standing in the bathroom doorway, a towel wrapped around his waist. His brunette hair dampened and droplets around his body. The shower was still running, and the steam was billowing out into the room. The entire atmosphere becomes steamy with just the two of them. She feels her heart beating when seeing Cyclops there.

Thelma smiled, her heart still racing from their earlier passion. She swung her legs over the side of the bed, her feet dangling in the air.

"Hey," she said, her voice husky from sleep. "What's going on?"

Cyclops turned off the shower and stepped into the room, his hair damp and his eyes sparkling with warmth. "Just thought I'd take a shower," he said, his voice low and smooth. "Care to join me?"

Thelma's eyes locked onto his, her pulse quickening. She smiled, her voice barely above a whisper. "I think I'll pass... for now."

"Suit yourself." Cyclops smirked.

Thelma chuckled, her eyes never leaving his. "Oh, I think I will." She swung her legs back onto the bed, her movements fluid and graceful.

Cyclops' smirk grew wider, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Tease," he said, his voice low and playful.

Thelma's smile grew, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Maybe a little," she replied, her voice dripping with seduction.

He approaches a mirror to gaze at his reflection, turning towards Thelma Tisgue with a smirk on his face. In addition, Thelma notices her own reflection showing from afar. She applies some special moisturizer to her face, neck, and shoulders. The frequency of her complexion provides photoluminescence. She approaches Cyclops with blankets covering her body up. Cyclops immediately scans her body, knowing how attractive she is, and her raven hair cascades down her back.

"You see, Thelma. This comes to show how beautiful you look from the inside out, and you don't have to hide behind the curtain anymore." Cyclops responded, his hands resting on her shoulders, massaging them.

"You do?" Thelma asked with a laugh, her cheeks flushing a florid red.

"Exactly. Which is why you and I have grown for a long time destined to be together." he nodded, sharing a kiss to her cheek.

"Scott, I would like to thank you for showing me the truth behind Mr. Sinister that I haven't had the chance to learn more about." Thelma smiled.

"I'm relieved that our friendship is back as a whole. We both came from kids of the orphanage to where we are now." Cyclops responded, pulling her warm body into a tender cuddle.

The air between them seemed to vibrate with tension, the steam from the shower swirling around them like a living entity. Cyclops took a step closer, his eyes burning with desire.

Thelma's heart skipped a beat, her pulse racing with anticipation. She knew that look, that burning intensity, in which she and Cyclops both shared from last night. His lips traced the sensation of her neck, and Thelma's hand stroked his face, exploring the lines of his cheekbones. She knew what it meant. And she couldn't wait to see what happened next during her romance with the X-Men field leader.
