Meanwhile, the cultists of the Inner Circle are disappointed as their leader, Mastermind, grows furious over the loss of their greatest possession for their dark ritual. In addition, he notices that the X-Men and the Ghostbusters' alliance is at large.

"You failed to bring the Summers girl over." Mastermind raged, "no matter, the X-Men will feel the urge of illusion. I may not know about the Ghostbusters, but their efforts are about to be overrun."

"We know, our sincerest apologies, sir!" The high cultist apologized.

"Typical, how can you let the girl escape?" A bellowing gruff male voice demanded.

The high cultist trembled before their leader, a towering figure with a menacing scar above his left eyebrow. "I-I'm sorry, Mr. Sinister. We underestimated the X-Men and the Ghostbusters' alliance."

Mr. Sinister's gaze narrowed. "Underestimated? You have failed me. The Summers girl's genetic material is crucial for our plans. Without it, our dark ritual is doomed to fail."

Mastermind's expression turned calculating. "Not necessarily, Mr. Sinister. We can still manipulate the X-Men and use their own strengths against them. And as for the Ghostbusters... I have a plan to deal with them."

Mr. Sinister raised an eyebrow. "Go on."

Mastermind smiled, a cold, mirthless smile. "We will create an illusion, a deception so real, the X-Men will doubt their own sanity. And the Ghostbusters...we will unleash a terror beyond their wildest imagination."

The cultists exchanged nervous glances, sensing the darkness growing within their leaders. Mr. Sinister nodded, his scar twitching with anticipation. "Proceed. Let us show them the true meaning of power."

"The girl has reunited with her father, Mr. Sinister. It's Cyclops!" The high cultist confirmed.

Mr. Sinister's eyes flashed with anger. "Cyclops! How...inconvenient. His involvement complicates matters. Mastermind, your plan to manipulate the X-Men must be accelerated. We can not afford to wait."

Mastermind nodded, his mind racing. "I will see to it, Mr. Sinister. But what about the Ghostbusters? They are an unknown variable."

Mr. Sinister's gaze turned cold. "Leave them to me. I have a special surprise in store for them. Something that will test their resolve... and their sanity."

The high cultist trembled, sensing the darkness growing within Mr. Sinister. "Y-yes, sir. And what about the girl, Macey Summers? She's still a vital part of our plan."

Mr. Sinister's smile was sinister. "Oh, we'll get to her. Cyclops may have her now, but we'll take her back. And when we do...she'll be the key to unlocking our ultimate power."

Meanwhile, back at X-Mansion, the young ghostbusters crew congratulated Macey on exploring her true identity as a mutant.

"Isn't this great? You, Macey, have found a true purpose. You're both a mutant and a ghostbuster." Deborah said, sharing a pleasing smile on her face.

Macey beamed with pride, feeling a sense of belonging she had never known before. "Thanks, Deborah. I feel like I've finally found where I fit in. And it's amazing to think that I can use my powers to help others in two different ways - as a mutant and as a Ghostbuster."

Scott Summers smiled, "We're proud of you, Macey. And we're happy to have you as part of our team."

"It's wonderful, too, dad." Macey smiled blissfully as her eyes shone with happiness as she looked at her father and the young Ghostbusters crew. "Thanks, everyone. This means a lot to me. I'm excited to see what the future holds for me as a mutant and a Ghostbuster."
