After defeating both Shanbahac and Sinister and freeing Thelma Tisgue from their villainous grasp, ridding her from the effects of the tome, the young ghostbusters saved the entire park from becoming a jungle, and the tree house, one of the X-Men bases in New York, appears to be back to its original state.
Valeria Domingo approaches the wooden benches of Central Park to find them clear, and the feeling of the park appears to be at a normal state once more.
"Thelma has given her all to protect the vegetation from the clutches of Shanbahac and Sinister." Deborah sighed, expressing her sadness over Thelma's sacrifice.
"She sure has moved on." Egon responded with reverence, "Until we meet again, Thelma."
"Her sacrifice did save everyone." Jason responded, with a sadden expression on his face.
"Despite under the influence of the tome's dark magic, her soul is purified once more." Ray agreed.
As the young Ghostbusters and their friends reflected on Thelma's sacrifice, a gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the trees in Central Park. The air was crisp and clean, filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers.
Valeria nodded, her eyes misty. "Thelma's spirit is finally at peace. She's free from the darkness that consumes her."
Deborah smiled softly. "Her legacy lives on, though. This park, and everyone in it, is safe because of her."
Egon's gaze drifted upward as if searching for something. "We'll never forget her bravery and selflessness. Thelma will always be a hero to us."
Jason's voice was filled with conviction. "And her sacrifice will never be in vain. We'll continue to protect this city and the world from supernatural threats."
Ray nodded in agreement. "With Thelma's spirit guiding us, we'll face whatever comes next, together."
As they shared a moment of silence, the treehouse in the distance seemed to glow with a soft, ethereal light, a testament to Thelma's enduring presence. The young Ghostbusters and their friends knew that her memory would live on, inspiring them to defend the world against the forces of darkness.
As the young Ghostbusters crew and Egon walked away from Central Park, they couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and relief. They had saved the city from Shanbahac's evil plans and Sinister's sinister schemes.
Peter's snicker echoed through the air as he watched Mr. Sinister being taken away by the authorities. "Bye-bye, Sinister! Looks like you won't be causing any more trouble for a while!"
Ray chuckled and playfully rolled his eyes. "Peter, you're such a goofball."
Winston grinned. "Hey, someone's got to keep things light around here."
Egon smiled, his eyes twinkling with pride. "Well, let's get back to the firehouse and debrief. We've got a lot to discuss and some new gear to calibrate."
As they walked, the Ghostbusters' iconic theme song echoed in the distance, a fitting soundtrack to their victorious exit, followed by the X-Men's theme.
Slimer, perched on Ray's shoulder, let out a happy chirp, already looking forward to their next adventure.
"I got one last thing left." Slimer responded, extracting the DVD of the second film from his back.
He tossed the failed sequel of the movie he watched into the fire and began keeping himself warm, much to the young ghostbusters' amusement.
"Slimer?" Dr. Spengler inquired.
"I guess the sequel he watched failed to make the cut." Winston smiled.
"Now, this is one sequel that people don't want to watch." Deborah giggled.
