The young ghostbusters return to the firehouse to place the ghost that escaped from the containment grid back inside. Egon places his left hand on the biometric scanner to gain access to the basement. The platform doors open wide as they make their descent. Ray locks in the combinations to activate sub-barriers for the containment grid, which will hamper her chances of escape. Egon stores the ghost inside, and the containment grid begins its process of emptying the ghost trap.
"In case we are in a worst-case situation such as this one, this sub-barrier Dr. Spengler and I put together will abstain any ghost from escaping and resuming its paranormal activity." Ray proposed, and the other young ghostbusters react in awe of the latest update of the containment grid design.
"How did you surmise that?" Egon queried.
"It's then the concept for the design will focus on how the potency of the sub-barrier has become the spectacle for ghost busting." Ray explained.
"You shared some astute flair for cutting-edge ghost catching technology." Winston commented.
"And ambient." Egon added.
"Why wouldn't I enhance the containment grid's maintenance system?" Ray queried, shrugging his shoulders.
"That's the Ray we knew so well." Deborah smiled.
"The tech genius with a sense of pride." Peter added.
The young Ghostbusters are back at the firehouse, securing the ghost that escaped from the containment grid. Ray and Egon's teamwork shines as they activate the sub-barriers and update the containment grid's design. The others are impressed by Ray's ingenuity and Egon's approval.
As the containment grid hums back to life, the team shares a moment of triumph. "That was a close call," Winston says, "but we made it happen."
"Thanks to Ray's quick thinking," Deborah adds, nodding in appreciation.
Peter grins. "Yeah, and Egon's always got our backs with his tech wizardry."
Egon smiles, his eyes twinkling. "It's all about teamwork and innovation. We make a great team, and who says that I'm a tech geek? Ray is the one with a knack of crafting prototypes."
Ray shrugs, looking pleased. "Just doing what needs to be done. In this case, I can conduct more gadgets with Lars when the time comes. But I think we're due for some celebration back at the firehouse. Who's up for some pizza?"
The team cheers, and the scene ends with a sense of camaraderie and a well-deserved celebration. Ray sifts an outline for new gadgets that can capture any potential paranormal threat in New York attempting to induce horror.
"We are not yet out of the woods, everyone. Dr. Spengler mentioned that the hauntings in Hell's Kitchen are still at large." Egon informed the other, and they jeered over the outcome.
"I guess we have to delay our celebration." Deborah sighs, shrugging her shoulders.
"I feel you, Debs." Peter consoles his fellow young ghostbuster.
"Come on, we need to pick up where we left off from our mission." Egon ordered.
While exploring the rest of Hell's Kitchen, the young Ghostbusters have awaited their mentor's overall plan. Egon parks the Ecto-1 to the side after paying for the parking.
"What a waste of good money, Egon." Egon Spengler III muttered to himself.
The group exits the vehicle to join Dr. Spengler and Professor X outside in encountering the ghosts entailing in the scheme.
"Come on, guys, let's gear up!" Egon called out to his teammates, ignoring his own muttered complaint about the parking fee.
Ray, Peter, Winston, and Deborah climbed out of Ecto-1, stretching their arms and legs after the long ride. They had been driving for hours, and the excitement of their mission had worn off, replaced by fatigue and hunger.
