The team explores the outskirts of the island after they defeat the villainous Vick Masterdom and free Legion from the mind enslavement that influenced the Shadow King's villainous schemes. In addition, they take some time off for a while to cherish the moments. Indeed, they are filled with a mix of wonderment and determination regarding the level of psychokinetic energy.

"There is something about this island that captivated my attention." Dr. Spengler responded.

"How are we going to determine if this Legion was capable of preventing the shadow king from tormenting their victims?" Janine queried.

"There is some way to explain it, for Charles Xavier knows Legion's history well." Dr. Spengler stated, adding significant information in his research.

"Yeah, they did it! They did it!" Slimer squealed in delight.

Dr. Spengler smiled, nodding in agreement. "Yes, they did it, Slimer. The young Ghostbusters and X-Men made a fantastic team. Now, we have a unique opportunity to study the effects of psychokinetic energy on the human mind."

Janine's curiosity got the better of her. "But, Doctor, how do we know Legion's powers weren't influencing the Shadow King's actions?"

Dr. Spengler leaned forward, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Ah, that's the million-dollar question, Janine. Charles Xavier's insight into Legion's history will be invaluable in understanding the dynamics at play. I'll reach out to him and arrange a meeting to discuss the details."

Slimer, still basking in the excitement, chirped in, "Ooh, ooh! Can I come too? I wanna hear about the X-Men!"

Dr. Spengler chuckled. "We'll see, Slimer. But for now, let's focus on analyzing the data we collected during their mission. There's still much to learn about the Shadow King's powers and Legion's abilities."

As the team continued to discuss their next steps, the firehouse door burst open, and in walked the young Ghostbusters and X-Men, exhausted but exhilarated from their adventure in Krakoa regarding the levels of fear Elysium produced. Dr. Spengler turns his business chair to face both teams, impressed by their success overall, for their camaderie is ingenious in his books.

"Hey, Doc!" Peter exclaimed. "We're back, and we've got stories to tell!"

Dr. Spengler beamed with pride, noticing both teams approaching him after a successful capture of the ghosts. "Welcome back, team! I'm eager to hear all about it. Let's get started on that debriefing!"

Charles enters to find both teams in the firehouse after capturing the malicious Vick Masterdom, the entity behind the mind control of Legion, his son, and a mutant with dissociative identity disorder.

"Speaking of whom..." Dr. Spengler smiled.

"I see the young ghostbusters freed Legion from the Shadow King's influence," Professor X responded, "yet he's out there causing chaos."

"Yes, however, we are not yet out of the woods. It seems Shadow King's influence is still at large. In fact, Masterdom's iniquitous deeds have spread an inimical message to both humanity and mutantkind. We must instigate a further scrutiny on the Shadow King's motives." Dr. Spengler spoke.

There's still much work to be done," Professor X agreed, his eyes narrowing in concern. "The Shadow King's influence can be insidious, and we must ensure that Legion is fully freed from his control."

"I've been monitoring Legion's psychokinetic energy," Dr. Spengler said, "and I believe I can help him learn to control it, to prevent future manipulation."

Professor X nodded. "I'd like to help with that, if I may. My experience with telepathy and mutant powers could be beneficial."

Ray, Peter, and Egon exchanged excited glances. "This is awesome!" Ray exclaimed. "A collaboration between Ghostbusters and X-Men!"
