Hakeem wanted to make sure he asked Amara out in the best way possible. He decided to reach out to Jhene on Instagram for some advice and help.
He opened his Instagram app, found Jhene's profile, and started typing a message.

Datboy.keem: Yo, Jhene! It's Hakeem. Got a quick question for ya.
Prettygirl.ne: Hey, Hakeem! What's up?
Datboy.keem: So, I wanna ask your sis out officially, you know, make it special. Thought you might have some ideas. Can you help me out?
Prettygirl.ne: Aww, that's so sweet! I got you, Hakeem. What you thinking so far?
Datboy.keem: Honestly, not sure. Wanna do something she'll remember. She deserves the best.
Prettygirl.ne: Okay, okay. How 'bout we meet up and talk about it? Easier than texting.
Datboy.keem: Bet. You free this afternoon?
Prettygirl.ne: Yeah, I am. Meet me at that café on 5th? Around 4?
Datboy.keem: Sounds good. See you then.

Later that afternoon, Hakeem arrived at the café a little early. He grabbed a table by the window and ordered a couple of drinks. Soon, Jhene walked in, spotting him and waving enthusiastically.
"Hey, Hakeem!" she greeted, sliding into the seat across from him.
"What's up, Jhene?" Hakeem responded, giving her a nod. "Thanks for meeting me."
"No problem. So, you wanna make it official with Amara, huh?" Jhene said, a teasing smile on her face.
"Yeah, man. I really care about her, and I wanna do this right," Hakeem admitted.
Jhene leaned in, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Okay, first off, what does she like? Like, what's her idea of a perfect date?"
Hakeem thought for a moment. "She loves nature, being outdoors. I was thinking maybe a picnic in the park where y'all used to hang out. It's got that sentimental value."
Jhene nodded, her smile widening. "That's a great start! And you know she loves her some good food. Maybe get her favorites from that little bistro she likes?"
Hakeem grinned. "You mean Bella's? Yeah, she loves their stuff. And for dessert, chocolate-covered strawberries, right?"
"Exactly!" Jhene exclaimed. "You gotta get the details right, Hakeem. It's all about the little things."
"Got it. So, set up a nice picnic, get her favorite food, and don't forget the strawberries," Hakeem repeated, taking mental notes.
Jhene took a sip of her drink. "And maybe some flowers. She loves lilies. You know, just to add a little touch."
"Lilies, huh? I can do that," Hakeem said, nodding. "You think she'll like it?"
"Are you kidding? She'll love it! It's thoughtful and personal," Jhene assured him. "But you gotta keep it a surprise. You know she likes being swept off her feet."
Hakeem chuckled. "Alright, I'll make sure it's a surprise. When do you think would be a good time?"
Jhene thought for a moment. "How about this Saturday? Namiko's spending the day with Grandma, so Amara's free."
"Perfect," Hakeem said, feeling a surge of excitement. "Thanks for all this, Jhene. You really came through."
"Anytime, Hakeem," Jhene said, smiling. "Just make sure to tell me how it goes. I wanna hear all the details."
"You got it," Hakeem promised.
As they finished their drinks and chatted a bit more, Hakeem felt a renewed sense of confidence. With Jhene's help, he knew he could make this date something special for Amara. And as he walked out of the café, he couldn't wait for Saturday to come, eager to show Amara just how much she meant to him.
