After the initial shock wore off, Amara knew she had to tell her family. Keeping something this significant from them wasn't an option. Her five brothers, mom, and dad were her rock, and she needed their support now more than ever. She decided to gather everyone for a family meeting, hoping they would understand and support her.

The next evening, Amara texted her brothers, asking them to come over for an important family meeting. Her mom and dad were already at home, so it was just a matter of waiting for everyone to arrive.

Tae, Shawn, Dai, Will, and Caleb trickled in, one by one, their faces curious and slightly concerned. Family meetings were rare, and they usually meant something big.

"What's going on, sis?" Tae asked as he walked in, giving her a hug.

"I'll explain everything once everyone is here," Amara replied, trying to keep her nerves in check.

Once they were all gathered in the living room, Amara stood up and took a deep breath. Her mom, dad, and brothers looked at her expectantly.

"Okay, everyone. I asked you all to come here because I have something important to tell you," Amara began, her voice steady but nervous. "I'm pregnant."

The room fell silent as her family absorbed the news. Amara's mom was the first to react, her face softening with concern and love.

"Oh, honey," she said, moving to embrace Amara. "Are you okay?"

"I'm still processing it," Amara admitted, tears welling up in her eyes. "But I needed to tell you all because I can't do this alone."

Her dad, usually a man of few words, cleared his throat. "We're here for you, Amara. Whatever you need."

Her brothers, after a moment of stunned silence, started speaking up one by one.

"Wow, sis. This is big," Shawn said, running a hand through his hair. "But you know we've got your back."

"Yeah, we're family. We'll get through this together," Will added, giving her a reassuring smile.

Dai, always the practical one, asked, "Have you told the father?"

"Not yet. I wanted to talk to you all first," Amara replied. "I'm planning to tell Hakeem soon."

Tae, the eldest, nodded. "Good. He needs to know. But no matter what, we're with you."

Caleb, the youngest of her brothers, looked a bit shell-shocked but managed to speak up. "You're going to be a great mom, just like you are to Namiko."

Amara's heart swelled with gratitude and love for her family. She knew this wasn't going to be easy, but their support meant everything to her.

Her mom squeezed her hand. "You're strong, Amara. And you're not alone in this. We'll be with you every step of the way."

Her dad nodded in agreement. "We'll figure this out as a family."

The rest of the evening was spent talking about the future, what steps Amara needed to take, and how they could all help her. There were tears, laughter, and a lot of reassurances. Amara felt a weight lift off her shoulders, knowing that her family was there for her, no matter what.

By the end of the night, Amara felt a sense of relief and determination. She had a long road ahead, but with her family by her side, she knew she could handle it. Now, it was time to tell Hakeem and face whatever came next.
