After sharing the news with her family, Amara was eager to tell her best friend Morgan about her and Hakeem's new relationship. She dialed Morgan's number, hoping to catch her between taking care of her son Leo and her own busy schedule. However, Morgan didn't answer, which wasn't unusual given how hectic her life could be.

Deciding she couldn't wait to share the news in person, Amara grabbed her keys and headed over to Morgan's house. As she drove, thoughts of how Morgan would react filled her mind. Morgan had always been there for her, through thick and thin, and Amara knew her best friend would be thrilled for her.

When she arrived at Morgan's house, Amara knocked on the door eagerly. It swung open a moment later, revealing Morgan with a tired but welcoming smile.

"Hey, Amara! Sorry I missed your call. Leo's been keeping me on my toes," Morgan said, stepping aside to let Amara in.

Amara hugged her friend tightly, feeling a surge of warmth at seeing Morgan's familiar face. "No worries, girl. How's my favorite little guy?"

Morgan chuckled, ruffling her son's hair as he played nearby. "Leo's full of energy as usual. What brings you over?"

Amara grinned, unable to contain her excitement any longer. "Well, I have some big news. Hakeem asked me to be his girlfriend!"

Morgan's eyes widened in delight. "Amara, that's amazing! I'm so happy for you!"

They settled down in the living room, Amara recounting the romantic picnic and how Hakeem had asked her to be his girlfriend. Morgan listened intently, her face lighting up with each detail.

"He sounds like a keeper, Amara," Morgan said sincerely. "I'm glad you found someone who treats you and Namiko so well."

Amara nodded enthusiastically. "He really is, Morgan. I feel so lucky."

They spent the rest of the afternoon catching up and sharing stories, Amara feeling grateful for Morgan's unwavering support. As she left later that day, Amara couldn't help but feel blessed to have such amazing friends and family who cheered her on in this new chapter of her life.
