{Arthur Leywin}

-I only learned this recently, but I believe that now would be the best time to address the fact that Arthur is the reincarnation of a 38-year-old king from another dimension." Nonchalantly explained lance Alea while looking at me through the reflection in the window before giving me a wink.

Taking a second to register the information as a heavy silence took hold of the entire room, I let out a short, sharp breath before placing my right hand against my forehead, partially covering my eyes.

-What kind of joke is this?" Asked Alduin in a strange tone, visibly unsure if he was finding this comment funny, if he was simply confused over why she thought it would have been a good joke or if he had been angered by it because of how insensitive it was to spread such ludicrous lies about me.

-It isn't a joke, you're majesty." She answered on a slightly more formal tone as my brain put together all the hints I had failed to notice all throughout the day. How Alea heard what Bairon and Hanna whispered to Lucas while they were on their way to and on altar, how she came out of nowhere after I started looking for Tessia's parent. She could probably hear everything happening in the entire building, meaning that she had definitively heard absolutely everything I had told Lucas.

Feeling everyone's glance back and forth between me and her as I stayed completely silent, I stayed perfectly still as my eyes looking past the current situation, grappling with the consequence of having to tell all three of them about my reincarnation.

To say that I wasn't comfortable, would be like saying that I wouldn't be mad if someone shot Tessia in front of my eyes, which is to say that I have never felt as uncomfortable in this, or my previous life.

I would have to explain everything about my past life, my role as king, my talents, my relationship with Tessia, the impact I could have on Dicathen, my links with Nico and Alacrya, everything.

-Art..." Slowly whispered Tessia in a concerned as she still held on to my arm, in a protective and genuine way, as I could almost feel her fear of seeing me get hurt.

-It's okay." I answered a bit dismissively as I focused back on reality as I heard that the Alduin and Virion had started to raise their tone against Alea while Merial tried to calm them all down.

Interestingly enough, despite being the main subject of the conversation, none of them were paying attention to me, only gesturing in my general vicinity.

-This is enough." I said in a clear, loud and firm tone while raising the hand I had been using to support myself in the air to attract their attention. "You can sit down." I specifically added in a calm and controlled tone while looking at Alduin who had physically gotten up while Alea had stayed rather far away and noncommittal, answering in brief, slightly cryptic manners.

-Arthur, I understand that you don't want to make a scene, but Alea is slanderi-

-You can sit down." I repeated, cutting-him off in a harsher, more commanding tone, to make him understand that this was an order and not a suggestion.

Hesitating for half a second, the elf king looked at me in the eyes and after closing and opening his fist in frustration a couple of times, finally got back to his place.

Feeling the tension grow even heavier in the room, so much so that it almost felt palpable, I knew I had to take the initiative on the explanation. After looking in their eyes one by one with a dead serious expression to make sure that all three of them understood that I wasn't joking around, and to give me just a bit more time to emotionally distance myself from the situation, I spoke up.

-Although I hadn't meant for this information to reach her, and much less to be spread with others. What lance Triscan said is true." I explained in a slow and calm voice, marking short pauses after important words while using my free hand to emphasize what I was saying.
