-This is simply ridiculous!" Loudly complained king Glayder as he waived around the documents, I had provided him. "How can you even claim to know that much about the other continent while the council has been struggling to acquire any hints to who they are."

-Have you considered hiring the people working in your intelligence services based on merits and not blood?" I proposed with a taunting smirk just to spite him, despite the fact that mots the information in those documents had been acquired by me before I was sent back in time.

Letting out a tired sigh, the man sat back on his chair before placing his hand against his forehead, as if my remarks were giving him a headache.

-Even if the information you gave us is in line with what little we know, I can't simply trust that you aren't withholding or have altered some of it to benefit yourself." He counter argued, conceding that the data I had given him was coherent, which was a big first step for my plan to succeed.

-I have no reason to hide any information or act in a way that makes Dicathen less likely to win the upcoming war." I answered in a genuine tone.

-And I have no reason to believe you after how many problems you created for me. For all I know, you could be waiting for those ''Alacryans'' to wipe out the entire council and put the entire continent under your rule." He retorted as I conceded that, if I had only been acting as Unity, this would have been a possible, if extreme, option.

-Despite how little faith you have in me, and the many conflicts that have arisen between, I can assure you that assuring the safety of the different council members and their family is with my persona interest." I explained, reasoning that I, not only, wouldn't want anything bad to happen to my family, but also to Curtis and Kathyln since they were my friends. Keeping the current rulers in place also insured political stability and that, even if it wasn't always ideal, I had someone I could negotiate with and not a complete maniac.

Giving me a doubtful glare, I knew that this conversation wouldn't be going anywhere, both to convince him that I was genuine and that the information I gave him on the Alacryan was accurate. I need to use some other means that pure rhetoric to convince him.

-I believe that she is stating the truth, my king." Explained Bairon who was waiting in a corner with a slight bow as he spoke after I glared at him strong enough for him to get the signal.

-When did you out of all people start siding with Unity?" Quizzed Blaine as he turned to look at his Lance, confusion apparent on his face.

-I have seen concrete evidence that have convinced me that Unity and her followers aren't what I have been told or had assumed." He answered in a calm, and respectful tone.

-I am struggling to understand how that month long stay at Unity could have changed your mind that much." Commented king Glayder visibly still baffled by the development.

-This isn't the only reason, my king." Added Bairon in an almost apologetic tone before glancing my way with a half desperate half annoyed expression, waiting for me to complete my part of our deal.

-And what else could have possibly change your mind?" Loudly counter argued Blaine, showing very little patience on the subject. "Or was it to do with your brother and how you suddenly canceled his wedding."

-Although you aren't far from the truth, the latter is more so a consequence of our new-found trust than the cause itself." I replied, causing the man to turn back to face me once more.

-Trust?" He repeated, visibly surprised by the presence of such a word in my sentence since it implied that Bairon's belief in my was based on a power-dynamic, a contract holding us accountable, or as the least worst option, but that I genuinely could be relied on beyond my immediate goals. "What piece of information could have ever led my Lance, which tried to murder one of your followers a few months back, to suddenly have faith in you?" He rhetorically asked, implying that there was none.
