-I am Unity." I proclaimed with a righteous and fierce expression while looking straight at Daswin Greysunder, knowing that what I was about to say and how people understood it could save my and Hanna's life, or seal our f ates.

Letting just enough time for everyone to understand what I just said, but not enough to speak up. The only two reactions I could gauge were those of Daswin, who hadn't moved an inch and whose face now wore a hollow smile, as if his body had yet to register what I just said while his mind already had, and the other being that of Olfred.

The usually extremely calm and composed, almost stoic Lance, who never once slipped from his role, now displayed complete and utter shock and confusion, as if the idea that I could say anything even remotely close hadn't crossed his mind.

Regardless, I pressed on, knowing what I had to say: "She is also Unity." I added as I gestured toward Hannadreda in a concise motion that wasn't too fast or too slow, just dramatic enough to draw attention.

Looking at me with her eyes wide open in bafflement, she also hadn't considered what I was trying to say, but I'm sure she would understand in a bit.

-That man in the stand is also Unity!" I shouted this time louder while pointing at a well-dressed dwarf I remembered seeing at my wedding and who I had spotted shouting at the royal guards.

-The people protesting outside those very walls are Unity ; And you!" I shout even louder, pointing straight at the device recording the scene and displaying it to all of Dicathen. "You two can be Unity if you want!" I explain, completely getting in the role and mood for the monologue I was about to give.

-Because Unity isn't a single person!" I added, looking back at Daswin straight in the eyes. "Unity is all the people who believe they can create a better future if we all stand together ! The name itself doesn't refer to the person running the organization, but the organization itself, because they are the same." I explained as everyone kept quiet, either to focus on what I was saying to make me shut up or to realize what I had also realized while waiting in the meeting room with the council.

-All of us who believe we can are part of Unity and Unity itself!" I explain turning to the recording device once more, before making a large wave with my arms to point at the entire public. "There is no way to know who the person who started Unity was, or if there even was a single person and not a group acting as one, but it doesn't matter," I state firmly, using my arms and legs to stand firmly, as if to assert what I had just said. "All that I know is that this first Unity with incredible strength and courage saved hundreds and hundreds of you, hundreds of us and amongst all of them, saved my wife who is standing right behind me now. But they didn't just save her from slavery, they gave her hope, a future, something to believe in!" I shouted, feeling my heart beating against my rib cage as I felt like the entire continent was looking at and hearing me. "That's how my wife and so many others, so many of you, became Unity yourself! You saved others and spread that hope, allowing them to become Unity for someone else, and that on and on!" I explained, believing that I had correctly driven my point home, but knowing I still had more to say.

Taking half a second to breathe, I looked at the crowd who was frozen solid and could only imagine what people on the other side of the magical recording device must feel and look like.

-My mother was an elf slave captured after the war when she was a child." I said, feeling my heart sink in a little as I was reminded of her. "I saw her get beaten to death by my own father, who had trapped, mistreated, and abused her mentally and physically." I let the words sink in a bit, remembering the scene my six-year-old self had observed second by second, as if I was still there. "She died because she was trying to protect me from my father's wrath after I failed to awaken fire element magic." I told them, trying not to cry as I remembered blaming myself for her death, especially since I awakened my fire magic soon after.
