"can you do one where the Paris squad is reading ghost stories but nick gets very affected by it and can't leave Charlie's side for the rest of the night? might be good for fluff, idk"

Third person pov:

"Come on!! I have a few scary stories up my sleeve I NEED to say them!" Tao whines while everyone gives their opinion on his suggestion.

"No! I hate scary things." Nick says while squeezing Charlie's hand.

"If you guys say scary stories Nick will cling to me like a child." Charlie says mockingly to nicks claim. Everybody laughs but ultimately decides to say scary stories in the dark.

Tao starts taking about the "lamp man"

"Okay so the story goes like this, there is supposedly a ghost man lamp, near us actually which is crazy. Supposedly the lamp man or the lights are evil spirits like demons that bring people to their deaths. The only way to not die near them, is to lay on the ground with your mouth in mud."

"Ew! On the mud?" Issac\aled replies.

Everybody laughs and Tao continues to explain.

"Some people say when you hear whistling noises near you on the 30th of the month-that means he's nearby." Nick moves over closer to Charlie holding his hand.

Coincidentally, it was the 30th of November. Suddenly outside they hear somebody whistling.

"What the hell. Tao did you plan this??" Nick says holding on to Charlie's hand and squeezing It tighter.

"N-no I swear." The whole gang goes quiet.

"Can we have some water?" Elle says Charlie nods and begins to get up.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Nick looks up at Charlie.

"Getting water. I'll be back." Charlie starts to walk and nick quickly gets up and follows him.

"What's wrong Nick?" Nick looks behind them as they walk to the kitchen.

"You know I'm not good with horror stories! I'm kind of scared.." he says it with shame as Charlie kisses his cheek.

"Nick! It's okay to be scared, do you just wanna be close to me for the rest of the night?" Nick nods and they continue to get the waters.

It was like that the rest of the night. Nick would stay with Charlie anywhere he went.

"Im going to use the bathroom." Charlie says as he gets up.

"Wait Charlie, Can i wait outside the bathroom?"

Charlie looks at nick surprised.

"Nick you'll be fine"

"Charlie!! Please."

"Ugh fineeee."

When the gang left to go home, nick was scared to go to his own house.

"Nick do you want to stay?" Nick looks up at Charlie and nods like crazy.

"Yes. No way I'm going outside when a creepy lamp man could be there." They both laugh and change into their pajamas. Nick usually left a set of clothes at Charlie's house just in case he had to stay.

"Come!" Charlie says while patting the spot on the bed next to him.

"Cover your legs make sure the lamp man doesn't eat them." Charlie mockingly says and nick scoffs.

"Okay Mr.Longlegs." Nick says jokingly.

They both laugh and cuddle with eachother.

"Goodnight don't let the lamp man bite" Charlie kisses nicks forehead and nick laughs slightly.

"Goodnight char, love you."

"Love you more."
