Nick and Charlie-one shots

"What???"

Charlie's pov:

I walk in the school, music blasting in my ears. I try my best to not walk into people while finding my way to my first class.

I walk in and see Nick staring off into space. I walk to my chair and sit as he turns around to see me. I'm so glad to see him, I smile and give him a hug. I turn around hearing something-or someone.

"Eww-gays? Damn it's like a whole pandemic." I turn to my side and see a classmate jack, speaking.

I look at him and develop a frown, I clasp my hands together while I look back down to my lap.

"Char. Don't listen to him. He's an idiot who doesn't know shit." I look up to him, his forehead is wrinkled as I smile sadly.

"Im used to it, it's okay. Just tired of it." He grabs my hand and kisses it, he smiles at me and I hold his hand under the table. I'm used to it so I guess it doesn't bother me as much as before, but I could tell Nick was very bothered. I felt bad because there's not much I can do for him. I try to clear my mind and focus on something else.

I walk side to side with Nick to lunch. Tao didn't come today, and Issac had a 'thing' so I decide to have lunch with Nick.

We walk to the cafeteria but before we enter I hear a familiar voice in the distance behind us.

"Haha look at them! They are like two gay aliens. do you think they like Taylor swift?"

Nick turns around agitated, "you got a problem?"

"Nah mate. Turn around back to your girlfriend yea-or well boyfriend." Nick starts to walk but I grab his bag and pull him closer to me.

"Please don't." I whisper, not wanting to create more drama.

"Yeah, listen to your boyfriend mate." Jack and his friends laugh as nick struggles to look at me.

"Nick it's fine, really." He takes a deep breath before looking back once. He turns back around and walks with me inside the cafeteria. All of this attention and drama is really annoying. I wish people would just focus on themself.

Nick sits down and begins to eat as he talks about his rugby game tomorrow. He has practice today and has to stay afterschool. I'm kind of bummed out because I can't hang out with him, but it's fine. I stare down at my sandwich and grapes.

Not wanting to eat, I slowly put them away as nick stares at me.

"Char are you sure your okay?"

I look to him and smile.

"I'm okay Nick. Don't worry about me, worry about yourself you giant rugby idiot." He snickers slightly but I could tell he's still not satisfied.

I sigh and take my bag of grapes out, eating only two. I hope that's at least enough to make Nick not worry about me.

"Bye char."

"Bye nick." He gives me a kiss on the head before we depart. I hear jacks voice in the distance once again but decide to just ignore him.

I get on the bus and put on my headphones, I tap play on the playlist Nick made for me while looking out the window.

Getting home, I throw my backpack on the floor and lay down on my very comfy bed. I sigh and get very comfortable under my covers. Before I realize it I slowly drift off to sleep, completely unaware of what I would wake up to.
