Chapter 45: The Extinction of Humanity

Super Lars continued his march around the edge of the Overwatch.

"The fuck is he doing? He's creepy. He's worse than the fat Lars." Seryu said.

Lubbock was trying to wake Mya up from in the palace.

"Mya! You got wake up!" Lubbock pleaded.

"I want a princess castle..." Mya mumbled in her sleep.

"Come on girl, stop talking in your sleep." Lubbock said.

"Lars, isn't attacking us." Bolic said.

"I wonder why." Megan said.

Super Lars stopped at the spot where he started his march, right in front of Night Raid.

Super Lars turned to Night Raid and smiled evilly and raised his hand to the sky.

Super Lars fired his Genocide Blast. The consisted of billions of energy beams being sent down to the earth below to kill every last human being on the planet except for Takato Sai and Bud.

People were being killed left and right, one by one, dropping dead.

Super Lars finished his attack, leaving every human below dead.

"Damn... it..." Najenda grunted as she dropped to her knees.

"Hey, it's okay." Esdeath said. "We'll bring them back. I swear." 

"Right." Najenda nodded.

"I've killed the remaining earthlings." Lars said. "Bring me the challenger right now."

"I will but just give her some time." Najenda said. "An hour or something."

"Just one hour. How long is that?" Lars asked.

"Chelsea..." Mine whispered.

"Okay." Chelsea nodded.

Chelsea shaped shifted into an hourglass.

"When all of the sand in this glass has dropped, the hour is up." Najenda said.

"No!" Super Lars said.

"Why not? It's just one stupid hour." Talia said. "Stop being a brat."

"Watch your mouth woman." Super Lars grunted.

"Wait! Don't do it!" Najenda said. "That girl is the daughter of Takato Sai. If she wants you to wait an hour, you know that Takato Sai would want that too."

Super Lars grunted. 

"She does smell just like him." Super Lars said. "They must be related."

Super Lars looked at the hourglass.

"Alright, I'll wait." Super Lars said reluctantly. "When that sand is gone, I'll kill you all, including the daughter."

Super Lars sat in front of the hourglass and waited.

Mya eventually woke up.

"Finally! Mya come on! We need to get to the forever room right now!" Lubbock said.

On the World of the Priests:

"What's wrong?" Tatsumi asked.

"They're gone. They're all dead." Lex said. "Every last person."

"Are you sure? Is the earth entirely gone?" Tatsumi asked.

"No, the earth is still there but the death toll is higher than imagination." Lex said.

"Hey, Elder Priest, is this ceremony done yet?" TJ asked. "We should've been finished hours ago."

"Yeah, I lost track of time." Elder Priest said. "We should be almost done."
