Chapter 68: Five Years Later!! - Another World Martial Arts Tournament

Five years have passed since Tatsumi and Akame defeated the terrible Lars saved the earth and the multiverse from destruction.

Wave was making his way over to Night Raid's hideout.

"Hello?" Wave knocked.

"Oh, hey, Wave!" Sheele said from a window.

"Hey there, Sheele." Wave said. "Long time; no see. Is Tatsumi around?"

"Nah, he left earlier this morning with Mine and Mya. The rest of us are about to head over to them, wherever they are." Sheele said. "TJ might know where they are though."

"Okay, well, I'll go see TJ about it." Wave said. "See you later Sheele."

"Bye!" Sheele waved.

Wave made his way over to TJ and Talia's house. TJ and Talia had gotten married since then.

Wave saw that the door was unlocked and let himself in.

"Hello?" Wave said.

"Oh, hey there Wave." TJ said.

"What's up man." Wave said. "Good to see you."

"How's everything with Kurome?" TJ asked.

"Amazing." Wave smiled. "How about you and Talia?"

"Happier than we've ever been." TJ said.

"How does it feel to be eternally young like the rest of us?" Wave asked.

"It feels awesome." TJ said. "Being eternally young is a hell of a lot better than being straight up immortal."

"You said it." Wave said. "Did you just come back from somewhere?"

"Yeah, I just came back from training with my dad." TJ said.

"You did?" Wave said. "Man, you've long surpassed me so it wouldn't really matter how hard I trained."

"So? That doesn't mean it hurts to stay in shape." TJ chuckled.

"I agree there." Wave said.

TJ and Wave looked at the television about Takato Sai advertising for the upcoming Martial Arts Tournament.

"Those were the days." Talia said.

"Oh! I almost forgot; do you know where Tatsumi is?" Wave asked. 

"Yeah, he's in the fields north from here with my mom and sister." TJ said. "The rest of the Jaegers are out there as well."

"Really?" Wave said.

In the Northern Fields:

Tatsumi and Mine were hard at training with Mya after a flawless double team move the parents overpowered their daughter.

"Wow guys, you show no mercy even your own daughter." Mya said, out of breath.

"Well, you're twelve years old now." Mine said. "You're not a little baby anymore. You're starting to grow up, sweetie."

"She's right, Mya." Tatsumi chuckled. "We can't baby you forever."

"Speaking of forever, when are you guys making me eternally young?" Mya asked.

"After you've turned twenty-one." Mine said.

"Why are you doing that again?" Mya asked.

"So, we don't end up out living you." Tatsumi said. "Now none of us are immortal. We're just young forever."

"Yeah, and besides, everyone's ages are just an illusion now." Mine said. "We weren't born in this time period like you and your brother."

"Oh yeah, you guys said that there were no cars, planes or any type of advanced technology." Mya said. "And when you guys were mysteriously brought back, there were planes, cars, phones and a whole bunch of new stuff that now exists, right?"
