Chapter 36: The Stalling Battle

Mya arrived at the capital.

"Mya made it." Susanoo said.

"Oh, thank god." Emperor Makoto said.

Mya began running around asking everyone in sight to find Dr. Stylish's laboratory.

Meanwhile, Tatsumi was fighting Lars.

Tatsumi grabbed Lars by his cape and began punching him like paddle ball.

"Come on, Lars! Fight back!" Drakeo said.

"Tatsumi has this in the bag, right?" Wave said.

"Maybe not." Bulat said. "Tatsumi may have channeled an enormous power, but it still might be enough to overcome this terror we're facing."

"So, you're saying that's how strong this Lars dude really is." Nyau said.

"Yes." Bulat said.

"Don't just take that! Fight!" Drakeo said.

Tatsumi swung Lars down to the ground.

Lars came flying back immediately.

"There's barely a scratch on him."  Tatsumi thought. "I can't stay in this form too long, but I'll see if I can kill this guy, so we don't have to deal with this problem longer than we need to. It doesn't hurt to try."

Lars formed beam shooter on his head, similar to Akame's red crystal.

Lars fired beams out of it.

"Hey! That's Akame's move!"  Tatsumi thought.

Tatsumi swatted away the blasts.

"This sneaky little bastard."  Tatsumi thought. "You must be able to mimic your opponent's skills after fighting them."

"Hurry up and dispose of this freak so we can move on!" Drakeo ordered.

Lars extended his arm and punched Tatsumi in the face, but Tatsumi tanked it and smiled at Lars.

In the Spirit Realm:

"Tatsumi! That's enough now!" King San said. "It's time to wrap it up! You're burning through time like crazy! If you keep this up, you won't have any time left on earth! Don't forget you still have to train your daughter!"

On Earth:

Tatsumi kicked Lars in the face, but Lars responded with a punch to the face. They trading blows back and forth and they both fired energy beams at the same time with caused a small explosion.

"For a goody-goody you fight not so bad!" Lars said.

"Not bad yourself." Tatsumi said.

"Hey! Lars! Stop fucking around! Put some pep in your step and hurry the hell up and take out this trash!" Drakeo said. "I am your master! Respect me!"

"Shut up!" Lars snapped.

"What was that!? Don't fucking talk to me like that!" Drakeo said.

"That's strange, Mya still hasn't left the lab yet."  Tatsumi thought. "Mya, you have to hurry."

"Did you say Mya?" Drakeo said. "So, you know how to get in touch with that little girl, do you? Hey Lars! Give this bastard a beating of his life until he tells us where the girl is hiding."

"Guess I'll have to by Mya some more time."  Tatsumi thought. "All the more reason to try and kill this guy if I can."

At the Capital:

Mya found Stylish's lab and was trashing the lab to find the radar.

"I can't find the stupid radar anywhere!" Mya said.
