Chapter 43: Manifestation of the Evil Within

Mr. Hogan and Lars stood puzzled at the sight at their newfound puppy lying motionless on the ground.

"Who the fuck did this?!" Mr. Hogan said.

He looked to a ridge and spotted The two hunters.

"Rotten, no-good pieces of shit." Mr. Hogan said. "Why?! It was just a pup!"

"I don't know why a renowned hero like Mr. Hogan is hanging with Lars anyway." A hunter said.

"Who cares? Fuck 'em." The other hunter said. "I'll kill him too and take his place as the hero of the world."

 Two hunters loaded two RPGs and fired them at Lars and Mr. Hogan repeatedly until the home was blown to pieces.

"Yeah!! That's what the fuck I'm talking about!!" the Hunter cheered. "I'm the hero now! Bitch!"

After the smoke cleared, the house was shown to be destroyed but Lars and Mr. Hogan were still alive.

Lars stood in front of Mr. Hogan to protect him and Lars was now seething with rage.

"How could he survive that!?" The Hunter said in disbelief.

Lars began marching furiously at the hunters.

"He's coming right for us!" The hunter said.

"Not for long." The other hunter said.

One of the hunters were kicked from the ridge and fell to the ground below.

The other hunter turned to see Mr. Hogan.

"You'll pay!" The hunter said.

"Bastard!" Mr. Hogan said.

Mr. Hogan proceeded to pummel and beat the hunter over and over and kicked him off the ridge alongside the other hunter as Lars watched on and calmed down as he let Mr. Hogan handle it.

"You make me sick." Mr. Hogan spat.

Mr. Hogan walked over to the dog, assuming that it was dead.

"Damn it. Cruel bastards." Mr. Hogan said as he picked the dog up.

The dog twitched.

"Holy shit! Lars! Come quickly! The dog is still alive!" Mr. Hogan said.

Lars immediately rushed over.

"Can you fix him like before?" Mr. Hogan asked.

"If doggie not dead, Lars make better." Lars said as he proceeded to heal the dog.

After a minute, the dog regained consciousness and Lars and Mr. Hogan celebrated the dog's survival.

AT THE OVERWATCH:

"The hell is going on down there?" Najenda asked. "Why is Mr. Hogan acting all friendly with Lars?"

"Can't get our hopes up, but this could mean we don't have to fight Lars after all." Megan said.

"Megan, you know for a fact this changes nothing." Najenda said. "He can still destroy this whole world."

"Mya, go rest for a while, okay?" Mine suggested.

"Are you sure?" Mya said. "Is there any time for resting?"

"You've got a point, but you shouldn't over do it." Mine said.

"We still got a day, no need to work yourself overboard." Chelsea said.

"Okay, I understand." Mya said.

"Good, we'll start training a few minutes." Mine said.

"Alright, mom." Mya said as she walked over to her grandparents.
