Night Raid Revolution

Chapter 24: Tatsumi vs Akame (Part 1)

Night Raid, Esdeath and Lex made their way down to a floor where a group of terrified soldiers waiting for them 

"It seems Drakeo has some left-over soldiers awaiting us." Lex said. "Let's not waste time with them."

"I'll handle it." Lubbock said.

Lubbock then grabbed all the soldiers with Cross-Tail and shocked them until they were unconscious.

"Nice work Lubbock." Najenda praised.

"Yes, nicely done." Lex said.

Another door then opened.

"Drakeo's getting cocky." Lex said. "He's so sure of his victory that he's inviting us in. Come Night Raid and Esdeath, let's show him how wrong he is."

With Tatsumi and Akame:

Akame then blitzed Tatsumi unleashing a flurry of attacks on him until she landed a knee to the gut and an elbow to the back which sent him to the ground.

Tatsumi then avoided a vicious stomp from Akame.

The two both then collided with knees which was strong enough to produce unnatural levels of electricity.

"What's the matter Tatsumi?" Akame said. "I thought you wanted to end this quickly."

"Yeah, that's the idea." Tatsumi said.

They both then blocked punches from each other and held each other's fists and then began throwing knees back and forth.

Akame then headbutted Tatsumi and then began dishing out remorseless gut punches, Tatsumi then grabbed both of Akame's hands and gave her two knees to the jaw and kicked her into a rock.

"Is that all you got?" Akame said.

Akame then exploded out of the rock.

Tatsumi and Akame then stared each other down and then charged at each other and entered a relentless melee. 

They both continued to go back and forth until they both landed punches on each other's faces.

Akame then immediately fired back with merciless gut punches, knee to the neck and abdomen and an elbow to the neck.

With Drakeo and Monsoon:

"Yes, that's perfect Akame." Drakeo smiled. "Keep it up."

The ball containing Lars then began glowing.

"Look at it go. It'll be fully charged in no time." Drakeo said. "Now, we have to deal with the Supreme Priest."

"Say the word and I'll dispose of him and the other fools." Monsoon smirked.

"In due time." Drakeo chuckled.

With Tatsumi and Akame:

The two assassins were trading blows then Tatsumi landed a kick to the abdomen and tried to follow up with a punch, but Akame dodged it and appeared behind Tatsumi and blasted him into a rock.

After waiting for a moment, an energy beam was fired out of the rock and Akame fired one of her own and the beams collided and the two entered into a beam struggle.

"You won't win, Tatsumi!" Akame said.

The beams then exploded.

With Night Raid, Esdeath and Lex:

Night Raid, Esdeath and Lex then reached the bottom of Drakeo's spaceship and were met with the sight of Lars' glowing ball.

"So, is that godforsaken creature in there?" Esdeath said.
