Chapter 41: Saved By the Timer

Lars was finishing up destroying cities when he spotted two cruise ships in the ocean.

"Those boats no escape Lars!" Lars smiled.

Lars then approached the boats by skating across the water and ran through the boats, unending and sinking one of them.

"Please! Help me! I can't swim!" a man called.

"Who that?" Lars said.

Lars then approached the man and the man instinctively climbed on top of Lars.

"Thanks, you saved-... No! It's the monster!" the man said.

"Lars hate you." Lars scowled.

Lars then kicked the man into the air and then sent him to outer space with an energy blast.

Lars was then blasted in the stomach.

He then turned to around to see Mya standing on top of the cruise ship that didn't sink yet.

"You know, you're not as tough as you think you are." Mya said. "That blast was just a hello. Killing you won't be hard."

"Who you? Tell Lars right now." Lars said.

"Why should I? You're about to die anyway." Mya said.

"Die?" Lars said.

Mya then began unloading on Lars with vicious attacks and then kicked him into the nearby docks. 

Mya then sent Lars crashing into the ocean and then fired a massive energy blast at him.

"Die! Ugly fatso!" Mya said.

After the explosion, Lars emerged from the ocean with his upper half cut off, he then regenerated his body.

Despite this, Mya was unfazed.

"You call Lars ugly fatso, that make Lars mad." Lars said.

"I don't care." Mya said.

Lars then blitzed Mya with a punch to the face, but Mya tanked it and then punched Lars in the stomach and then headbutted him.

"Lars hate you!" Lars said.

"That feeling's mutual." Mya smirked.

Lars tried to attack Mya, but she dodged it and kicked Lars into the water again.

Mya was about pursue Lars until her Evolution State transformation regressed her to her base form.

"What the...? Oh no, the stupid timer." Mya said. "It's been thirty minutes already?"

Then the military showed up and began attacking Lars as he came out of the water.

"Crap. I got to leave while I still can." Mya said.

Mya then flew back to the Overwatch.

"DIE!!" Lars said.

Lars then unleashed a massive explosive wave and leveled the area and killed the military.

"Now I kill even more!!" Lars said.

At the Overwatch:

"So, did you beat him?" Kurome asked.

"No, the stupid timer ran out on me." Mya said. 

"Well, how was it fighting him at least?" Mine asked.

"I was kicking his ass." Mya said.

"Really?" Mine said.

"Cross my heart and hope to die." Mya said.
