Chapter 53: Tatsumi Returns to Life!! - TJ vs Lars (Part 3)

 TJ charged at Super Lars but was dodged.

"What happened?" Super Lars chuckled. "I thought you were going to kill me."

Super Lars kicked TJ away and hammer struck him down to the ground. 

Super Lars grabbed TJ by the throat and lifted him in the air.

TJ kneed Super Lars in the face.

"Ah, you bastard!" Super Lars said.

TJ drove Super Lars into a rock side and blasted him with a Pink-Nado at point blank range.

TJ looked down below to scan for Super Lars.

"I know you're still down there, asshole!" TJ called out.

Super Lars blindsided TJ from above with a kick to the head. "You guessed right!"

Super Lars threw TJ to the sky and used his retractable rubber-like skin to wrap his arm around TJ and trap him, stopping his mobility.

On the World of the Priests:

"Damn it. It's too close of a fight. TJ might not beat him now..." Tatsumi said as he slammed his fist into the ground repeatedly. "They're too equal to each other, and they both are wearing each other down. He might beat TJ before Mya's time limit runs out. Also, with Najenda's intelligence, TJ can't just stall for time until Mya's timer runs out. Lars won't let that happen. He'll continue to go after TJ, forcing TJ to fight back with the same intensity. Damn it! Lars literally absorbed our advantages!"

"This was definitely not part of my plan." Elder Priest said. "We'll have to send you down there and give your boy a hand. We'll need a guarantee because if he beats TJ, he'll destroy the planet."

"I wish I could, but I can't." Tatsumi said.

"He's right. Unfortunately, Tatsumi is no longer allowed to step foot in the living world." Lex said.

"I know that, but what I'm offering gets him around that little obstacle." Elder Priest said. "I'll give up my life for his."

"You'd sacrifice your life so I could get mine back!? Really!?" Tatsumi exclaimed.

"No! Out of the question!" Kubo protested. "You mustn't go through with this! Your life for a mortal!? It's ludicrous!"

"So, the entire multiverse should die over a petty rule?" Elder Priest said. "Lars will stop by here before he's done, you know."

"Then let it be me." Lex said. "I was the one who failed a stopping Lars from being freed."

"I won't hear of it." Elder Priest said. "You still have your youth."

"Are you sure sir?" Lex said.

"Thanks, Elder Priest." Tatsumi said.

Super Lars fired a Possession Wave at TJ, but TJ broke out of the rubber and dodged at the last second.

"Woah, he's a tough one." Lars chuckled.

In the Spirit Realm:

"What did you say!?" Deborah said. "You can't be serious."

"I am. I thought something like this would happen, so I decided to leave her soul intact just in case." King Wei said. "I've also given her body back. Now go and do what you do best."

"For the record, I think this is a terrible idea." Deborah said. "But if this is the only way, then fine."

"I should be in hell right now for all the evil that I did." Akame said. "I couldn't defeat Lars before, so what could have possibly made you think I can now?"
