Chapter 32: Another Ray of Hope

"Are you guys serious?" Talia said. "A mystical demon is supposed to come out of these books?"

"Yup, it's no joke." Wave said.

"Sorry, this all feels fake to me." Talia said.

"Alright, let's summon Daeva." Kurome said.

"Dark spirit Daeva, come forth!" Dr. Stylish said.

The sky went dark, the five books then levitated and merged together, and Daeva came roaring out of the books.

"There's an incantation as well?" Talia said. "Wow, my mind is blown."

At the Overwatch:

"I'll head down to get everyone up here." Esdeath said.

"Sounds good, make it fast." Najenda said.

Everyone then noticed the sky was dark.

"The sky went dark.... meaning." Najenda said.

"The Jaegers are the only ones who could've gathered the books that fast." Chelsea said. "But they don't know what's going on yet, so why are they..."

"It's because of what Akame did." Tatsumi said. "Akame killed a lot of people at the tournament grounds earlier, they're probably trying to bring back the people that were killed."

"That's not good." Megan said. "If they use all three wishes, we'll have to wait a year to use the books again."

"Shit, that's not good... at all." Leone said.

"I'll go stop them right away." Tatsumi said.

Tatsumi then teleported to the Capital.

"Three wishes will be granted to you." Daeva said. "Ask and you shall receive."

"Bring anyone who was killed today, except for any bad people." Wave said.

"Very well." Daeva said. 

Daeva resurrected all those who were killed, including Kubo, excluding any bad people.

"Now speak your second request." Daeva said.

"Ah shit! A second wish?" Tatsumi said.

"Tatsumi?" Wave said.

"Hey there handsome!!" Cosmina said.

"Where in the world were you and the rest of Night Raid?" Honest asked.

"We'll answer questions later." Tatsumi said. "Hey, Megan, they already used one wish, now what?"

"It's okay. It could be worse." Megan said. "Tell Daeva to forget about the other two wishes. If only one wish was used, we can use the books again in four months."

"Okay, good." Tatsumi said. "Tell Esdeath I'll bring everyone up here for her."

"I'll pass that along." Megan said.

"We won't be needing anymore wishes." Tatsumi said, running over to Daeva. "Until next time."

"If that is all, I bid you farewell." Daeva said.

Daeva then vanished along with the RongoRongo Books.

"Tatsumi, what's going on?" Run asked.

With Lars and Drakeo:

"What was up with the sky?" Drakeo said. "From dark to light, well I suppose it doesn't matter. This world will be dark permanently after we're done."
