Chapter 48: The Ever-Evolving Power of Mya

"Go on and kill us, Lars." Najenda said. "Just know you're never leaving this space again."

"But my food..." Super Lars said.

"There's no food here or anywhere." Najenda smirked. "All gone."

"NOOOOOO!!!" Super Lars screamed.

On the Outside:

"What the hell was that?" Esdeath asked.

"She did it. Najenda destroyed the entrance to the Forever Room." Megan said.

"That was Najenda's last gamble to stop Lars." Budo said.

"But if she went through with it, does that mean...?" Tomas said.

"As we feared, even with Mya's potential power, she was no match for Lars." Minister Honest said. "With Mya defeated, Najenda had no choice but to destroy the entrance, trapping them all inside. But at least Lars has been stopped. He'll be imprisoned there forever, never to be seen or heard from again."

"When you say defeated, are you saying that Mya has been killed?" Gemma asked.

"Probably. I'm afraid so." Minister Honest said.

"Son of a bitch! I knew it!" Gemma screamed as she dropped to her knees.

"We can just bring her back with the Rongo-" Wave said.

"I know, dummy!!! That's not the fucking point!!" Gemma screamed.

"Gemma?" Sheele said.

"Night Raid...... how could you let this happen?!" Gemma said, looking up. "You all knew this was a bad idea! You can't send a child to fight a monster like Lars, no matter how strong she is!! Isn't she one of your own!!?"

Tomas came over and consoled Gemma to calm her down.

"My son and grandson are already dead!" Gemma said. "Then Mine was killed and now Mya, my granddaughter!? This is too much."

"We're so sorry." Run said.

"She was only seven!!" Gemma cried.

In the Forever Room:

"No cookies... no anything." Super Lars said as he paced back and forth.

"It's my fault." Mya said. "I shouldn't have been wasting time at the beginning by holding back my power. I was hoping that I wouldn't need to go all out because I didn't fully master this form yet."

"Holding back?"  Najenda thought. "What do you mean, Mya?"

"I want food...." Lars groaned. "I HATE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!"

Super Lars' scream managed to tear a hole in the sub-dimension back to the outside.

"That looks like..." Mya said.

"It is. With his sheer power, Lars managed to tear a hole the fabric of this sub-dimension. He made his own portal." Najenda said. "Come on, Mya! We can't let him leave!"

The hole began shrinking.

"Uh oh, it's closing." Mya said.

"I'm not staying here! You're staying forever!" Lars said.

Super Lars liquified himself and slithered through the hole back to the outside.

"He's getting away!" Mya said.

"Run!" Najenda said.

The sub-dimensional hole shut before Mya and Najenda made could make it through.

"Fuck. He's gone." Najenda said.

"Hey, what's that?" Kurome asked as she spotted Super Lars' shriveled up body.
