Shigaraki stumbled into the dimly lit bar, blood dripping from multiple wounds. His breath came in ragged gasps, a mix of pain and rage etched into his features. He cursed under his breath, staggering towards the bar counter.

"Superman... that damn hero," he muttered, slamming his fist onto the bar, sending a wave of frustration through the empty room.

Behind the bar, a television flickered to life, the screen filled with static before settling on a dark, featureless image. Three voices emerged from the speakers, their tones cold and calculating.

"Ah, Shigaraki," the first voice began, calm and clinical. "It appears your mission did not go as planned. I assume it was Superman who interfered?"

"Yes," Shigaraki spat, his anger palpable. "He defeated the Nomu. It wasn't supposed to happen like this."

The second voice, more analytical and detached, chimed in. "Subject S... Superman. An anomaly, indeed. How did the Nomu fare against him?"

"It injured him," Shigaraki replied, wiping blood from his mouth. "But it wasn't enough. Superman was too strong."

A sigh echoed through the speakers. "It seems Subject S has not yet reached his full potential. However, he poses a significant threat. It pains me to consider it, but we may have to eliminate him before he becomes uncontrollable. Destroying my best creation is not a decision I take lightly."

Shigaraki's eyes flickered with a mix of confusion and frustration. "Your best creation? What are you talking about?"

The analytical voice continued, ignoring Shigaraki's question. "For now, focus on strengthening our assets. We cannot afford another failure."

The third voice, deeper and more authoritative, finally spoke, a tone of commanding presence. "Shigaraki, you must become stronger. This defeat is a setback, but it is not the end. Use this experience to fuel your growth. You have potential, but you must push yourself beyond your limits."

"Master..." Shigaraki murmured, recognizing the voice. "I will. I won't let this happen again."

Two weeks later the sky over Japan was clear, the calm atmosphere a stark contrast to the chaos that was about to unfold. In the heart of the city, a group of criminals had taken over a bank, holding hostages and firing indiscriminately. The police had surrounded the area, but their efforts were hampered by the heavy gunfire.

Kai, was flying above the city, enjoying the rare moment of peace. Suddenly, his enhanced hearing picked up the sounds of gunfire and screams.

In an instant, he changed course and streaked towards the city center. Within seconds, he arrived at the scene, hovering above the police barricades. The officers looked up in surprise and relief as Superman descended.

"Superman, it's a hostage situation," the police chief briefed him quickly with relief that the hero arrived. "They have heavy weaponry and are shooting anyone who tries to get close."

Kai nodded. "I'll handle it. Keep your men back and ensure the civilians stay safe."

With that, Kai sped into the building, his speed turning him into a blur. He quickly assessed the situation: a dozen armed men, hostages cowering on the floor, and bullets flying everywhere. Kai moved faster than the criminals could react, disarming them one by one. He crushed their weapons effortlessly, tossing them aside as if they were toys.

One of the criminals, realizing they were losing, grabbed a hostage and pointed a gun at her head. "Stay back, or I'll shoot!" he yelled.

Kai's eyes glowed with a fierce light. "Let her go," he commanded.
