Aizawa's voice echoed through the classroom, s the class was ending for the day. "Well, that will be everything for today. There is only one week left before the final exams. I hope all of you are studying."
"And remember, there will be a practice exam and a written one, so keep your bodies and minds alert. Have a nice day." Kai added with a smile as he waved goodbye to his students as both pro heroes got out of the classroom.
Kai chuckled softly, a reminiscent gleam in his eyes. "This brings back memories."
Aizawa's tired gaze flickered towards the students, a mixture of concern and anticipation evident in his expression. "I hope they are ready, as you know, the exams are going to be different this year."
Kai nodded in agreement. "Yes, Nezu is really putting up an effort for these exams. But most importantly, knowing they have the intense training camp in the summer, there is no time to waste."
As the two pro heroes left towards the teacher's office, the students gathered to discuss their thoughts on the upcoming Izuku, Momo, Ochako, Lida, Tsuyu and Todoroki were discussing the incoming exam as they walked towards the cafeteria to have their launch.
"The written exam won't be that hard, what worries me is the practical exam," Momo expressed, her voice tinged with concern as they sat on the table with their food.
"I'm in the same spot," Ochako admitted, "Even though I learned a lot with Gunhead, I still don't think I'll be able to face whatever the teachers have in store for us."
"I agree, UA has always had its ways to complicate things further" Todoroki added gaining a nod from Lida
"I am getting even more nervous now!" Ochako's said with fear.
"It should be about the things we saw this semester—combat and basic rescue," Tsuyu added.
"We should train and—" Izuku began, only to be interrupted when a trey hit him in his head.
Monoma's smug voice cut through the air, dripping with condescension. "I'm sorry, I guess your head is so big I couldn't evade it."
Izuku's brow furrowed in annoyance. "Monoma? What's your problem?"
Monoma's gaze bore into Izuku, his words laced with spite. "I heard you encountered the Hero Killer. Just as in the sports festival, you love to have the attention of everyone."
Momo stepped forward. "What's your point?" she said with a firm tone.
"I'm just saying, maybe it's not because of your ability, but because of the fact that you always cause trouble," Monoma taunted, his smirk widening.
Before he could continue his tirade, Kendo intervened, "You are not funny. Do you even know what Iida and the others had to go through?"
Momo's expression softened as she turned to Kendo in surprise. "Kendo?"
Kendo's gaze softened with sympathy. "I'm sorry, it's like his heart is a little poisoned. And I couldn't help but hear that you don't know what the exam is going to be about, right? Well, it seems it will be a combat against robots, like in the admission exam."
Izuku's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? How do you know?"
Kendo shrugged casually. "A friend of a second year told me. Good luck."
The students quickly returned to class, buzzing with excitement as they shared the newfound information, which seemed to ease their nerves the rest of the day passed smoothly and soon it was time to return home but before Izuku could leave Bakugo stood up to him his haze full of hatred.
